Malvita wakes up from a strange dream. A dream that has lasted for weeks. He saw everything that happened, all the steps he had taken, the people he had seen, the words that had uttered from his lips... but... he hadn't been the one speaking, nor the one walking. It was a dream he hadn't had control of, a frame of time where he wasn't himself. What had happened?

..Ahhh... My head. Why am I in the... the Castle? How did I get here....?

Malvita stands up, his head spinning. He can still hear the voice... the scratchy, breathy, hiss of words that had kept him conscious in his dream. The words elude him, but they come back slowly, as his memory does.

He walks out of the castle. There are people here, "That's new" he thinks, as he walks out. He notices two armed lizards... the guards.

I'm just passing through... could you escort me out?

Of course the Lizard guards, one being Shukk, and the other one Malvita hasn't heard of, don't let him by. After a short walk, and a fine of an ingot, the lizard leave Malvita in the cave with the ork guards. They quickly spill his blood, and as he walks to the cross he hears the voice again.

Remember her Malvita... her time will come.

Malvita walks into town, tossing his bloody hat into the river muttering to himself. The people around him barely notice his existance. Seems nothing much has changed in the time he was in the "dream". Now that he is awakened, he wishes oddly to hear Her voice.

The news is troubling, Aristeaus is no where to be found, and he already has his gaurds targeting me. He and I should have a word.

Malvita writes a message, and sends it by dove to Aristeaus.

The creature known as 'Night' awakens from a strange reality. A reality that had persisted over the length of weeks. Memories and impressions it dubbed 'visions' all washed over it in a timespan of mere seconds, and it felt like reality itself was bending slowly around it, to adapt.

Adapt from two faces slowly melting into one.

Crouched and cowering on the rooftops, its cold stare locked onto the lad known to it as Malvita, as the boy wandered through town.

Still fighting back the shadows within, eyes twitch beyond the darkness given by a black hood, those very eyes focusing on the lad again—

Watching.

However, the moment it spotted shining white wings spreading and flapping and carrying a dove's body skywards, the darkly-shrouded figure swung with unnerving swiftness and elegance over the rooftop's edge. It's long black cloak flapped violently through the air just the moment before the figure hit the ground. Metal jingled out loud, contact with floor however was hardly to be heard—almost like a cat, the figure had adeptly rolled over and back up onto its feet, as it set off towards the river-side.

'And what if I am seen?', it thinks, as its sprinting bootsteps carry it dangerously close to the river.

It does not care anymore, the moment the ringing jingling of metal links shrieks through the air and the figure lands on the other side of the river. Holding the hood firmly in its left, and not letting go while it comes to a sliding halt on the other side of the water, the figure almost immediately runs on.

Bootsteps now tapping aloud against grass and forest ground alike, the figure chases after the dove, seemingly reckless and careless now of who could watch or follow it.

Malvita turns at the sound of the jingling metal. And he follows the dark figure with his eyes as it bolts after the bird, jumping over the river to chase it.

What the blazes...? Either a spy trying, not so secretly, to intercept my rather unimportant message... or someone is really hungry for dove.

Malvita mumbles to himself as he walks around town, looking for a friendly face.
