Just recently I have arrived back from a journey to be told an important message. You must follow these directions in order for your soul to be saved. The Prancing Magenta Troll of Madness is not at all bad as we had originally thought, but there is one condition. I was near town when he talked to me, and I was told a message. Heed these words:

EAT YOUR OLD SOCKS.

If this can't be accomplished for some reason, borrow a friends pair of old socks, and eat them. Do this and you will be safe! After you've eaten some, EAT MORE! Ceigan walks off giggling

You are plainly mad, and thus your message shall be taken as the ravings of a mad man. Thus no one will heed your words. You have had no reson with wich to waste my time reading such a foolish message.
Let it be known in the future that this man is mad, unless his message be some foul joke of which has no meaning.

A woman walks up to the note, and snarls at "Master and Teacher of Tree Removeing", but deisdes to play along. Trying to find some enjoyment for the day after it's previous occurenecs.

May I ask, what this reason for eating socks is? You wouldnt want to lead people into something blind now would you? I mean, it might be dangerous to lead a wolf blindfolded, then reveal to them a land that they do not know...

Why is the eating of your old socks important?! Well, number one, The Prancing Magenta Troll of Madness wanted the word spread. That should suffice in itself, but if you want to be more in depth then your soul may be torn out from your body if they aren't eaten. Hope that helps

I am not really sure why their soul will be torn out, BUT if you ever run into him, you could ask. If the soul has already been torn from their body, then I guess that person can eat or NOT eat the old socks as they wish! Bye!

In response to the question about souls:

If the soul is torn from the body then it needs to be found, and returned to balance.
