since it's already open i'll put stuff here. different problem though. the third type of viking helm (all silver one) for some odd reason decided to transform itself into the mummies viking Helm when i put it down on the ground.

I witnessed what Athian described. I saw it turn into number one helm.

I also witnessed what Arist described - this trick is true for amulets. If you try to place one on top another, they vanish.

Why can't a person wear five rings ?

Why can't a person wear five rings ?
Because then there is no point in varieties of rings.
Why can't we just have a ring that combines all in one and costs the same as all of the rings combined? Point made.

A better question is, why can't they wear ten?

You would need to make special thumb rings for the thumbs, then you could wear 10, right now you would only be able to wear 8.

Maybe because they're magic and your hand will explode if you put more than two magic rings on? Besides, the client doesn't support "normal" non-magical rings yet, so do you want to throw game balance off hand for newbie players by making it possible to, let's say, wear four rings of the same type so he's some kind of demi-God? Err, what's the point in deities then, and such? We could just go play some D&D. Besides, anybody who believes in those silly rings being magical is full of nonsense.

Anyway, back on topic.

I've found another horrible error of items disappearing, although it's a while back, I've forgotten to post it for quite some time now; might be fixed already:

When I'm glassblowing, and either of the tools breaks on the inventory spot of the character's hands, the new one and the other one disappears when I replace the tool on the inentory field of the hand.
I.e. blowpipe in one hand, shovel in the other  shovel breaks  I replace the shovel in the hand  blowpipe and shovel disappear.
Happens the other way around too, and ate away alot of my resources as a newbie.

Edit: Almost forgot.
Happens to me with needle and thread, too, although the "unlost" item wouldn't disappear.
If I dropped a needle, and replaced it, the thread would disappear. Or if the thread would run out and I replaced the thread, the needle would disappear.

I think I want to call this the magic hand trick. Sian must have magic hands. He can make things vanish in them. He's not even a mage.
