Erdrick's Class System Proposal - A professional system

Just to give an idea to the programmers, this idea comes from the well-made game Dragon Warrior AKA Dragon Quest. The system is slightly changed for certain Final Fantasy games also
The Hero (Which is you) Journeys to a Mystic Shrine. (Dharma Shrine in DW/Q)
Here, you walk up the steps to a (King or Noble) and he asks you if you want to change your path in life. You now can switch and choose your classes as you like, which in Illarion the possibilities would be Druid, Mage, Thief, Bard, Merchants or None. When you change classes, and experience and mature, you will learn techniques, skills, spells and secrets. You can change classes whenever you come to the temple, but if you want to Master a class you might want to keep the class for quite a while. Now, this would mean having a part in Illarion where you advance from 'skill meters' to a Class Rank, where Merchants would start as Traders, and with buying/selling experience will advance to higher ranked names. Now, I will give you an example.
Erdrick does the first steps and becomes a Thief
. He is a low-skilled Thief, so his classification is Pickpocket (Or novice, whichever). He travels around town, and tries to Pickpocket a Dwarf, and gets chased off. Well, thats less EXP than if he would have succeeded. He decides to pilfer some Skeletons, where they won't mind as much. He keeps working at his class for a *LONG* while, and finally advances to a Cutpurse, or Big Thief or something along those lines. He gets better in his skills, and maybe even learns the "Knock-out" skill (Uses a club) and so the system goes. Now, when he changes he loses the skills he gained but if he returns to the Thief class he gets his skills again. Got it?
This class system is VERY advanced for Illarion, a little TOO much as of now, but it was aimed for the future illarion, when we have the e-mail system. I know that "The programmers are totally weighed down with work, we are taking tests, we will not release dates, etc..."
But, I am making a PROPOSAL, as this is the proposal board, and will NOT be put down.
We are the players, we supply ideas, you are the programmers, you (may) listen.
Thank you for your time, and I hope this gave you some ideas for a brighter Illarion.
Your merchant, Erdrick.
