Does anyone know what to do with an oil lamp? I just got one... and wonder whether there is any purpose for it?

Perhaps once it was used as a torch to light the way for Warm Bloodss.

Now it is a pretty decoration and a valued "Clunk Ow!"

What is a "Clunk Ow!" you ask? Throw it at someones head.

I believe this topic has been brought up before..
Anyway, the lamps are found in the river.
A ratio of finding one is about: 1 lamp every 70+ fish.
Some people may have better luck but my skill is really high so I get a fish every time now.
The lamps may or may not have a purpose...
I will pay the person 2k who finds out what they do.
(and don't give me "nothing" as an answer)

Use them with the campfire a lots of time,than it will get warmer and than its hot!than nothing happenes!

What are iol lamps for?

Here's a list of uses:-

1. Chucking a people
2. Looking at and then throwing it back
3. Creating silly topics on bords
and 4. To make you ask the most important question about them. Who put them there in the first place?
