Illarion.org

I would like to see an in game calendar. Perhaps put under the time and location index in the upper right hand corner.

If it was readily seen it may enhance the roleplaying of certain characters. Examples being someone who farms, harvests, practices magic, or for religious ceremonies, clan gathering, and special events like holidays and such.

It would also aid in time frames for folks when reporting and discussing events, or if they have been away from the game for awhile.

It could also enhance changes made to wardrobes etc. due to seasonal weather changes (that is if Illarion has regular seasonal changes, I am not sure how you prefer to have that part set-up. I haven't seen any references to them other than for drought or rain)

An Illarion calendar with months exist (if you haven't find it yet, use the search function of the board).
And it is also planed to show the date inside the game.
Enjoy Illarion until it is ready without actual date .

Months are named after names of younger gods.
Moshran month is the shortest I believe.

What would be really cool, if certain worshippers actually ADJUSTED to the seasons.

Like, we could have an increase of violent activity and blood (demon attacks, player attacks) during Moshran month. Every person who has an evil part to them, would be reawakened with violence.

Irmorom month could be the season of most crafting success and dwarves could have some nice celebrations, parades, etc.

Elara month would have elven holidays, and successful time for mages.

Zelphia month would be cherrished by lizards, and their activities.

Ronagan month would be a month of increased crime, theft, and mischief, as well as the month of sudden surprizes. Poor children would find coins and candy under their pillows in street orphanages. Sick kids would be cured, dirty (beggars, prostitutes) people would get some rest and peace in their lives.

Nargun month would be simply plain crazy. Teleporting monsters, opening portals, crazy nuts, visions, prophets with nonsense predictions. Chaos. Crime, joy, sadness, war, happiness - everything would be mixed. The month of dark uncontrollable ethereal nothingness.

etc...

Now THAT would be cool!
