I think that Dwarves should start with a tinderbox in their inventory.
I mean, that is, when we make the fire-making process a little more complex.
I was catching up on my reading and I found, that Dwarves make fires easy.
Also, Trolls hate the sight of "raw" (uncooked) Dwarves!
So, maybe (new monster idea) Trolls, would attack Dwarves more often.
And, Hobbits COULD make good burglers, so maybe their thief skills rise better.

Thats all I can come up with...

Maybe the dwarves/humans/elves/lizards... and so on,
can dig up gems that relate to what they are.
For example, humans dig up rubies
Lizards, emeralds
Orcs, Smaradg
Dwarves, amethyst
Elves, bluestone
And fairies can dig up diamonds
Goblins or Gnomes or whatever can dig up topaz.

Nonsense to dig out gems to races...

maby insetad of having only one race diging up one thing how about the gems that go-with the race when turned into a ring it gives them more power than normal...

for example; lizard/w emerald ring on finger/claw has more power than a human with a emarald ring on his finger

Gnomes should be only living for work,more than dwarves!their bonusses should be in strengh and in mining!I know gnomes that dig stuff in to gid it out,only for the work
