books.

i find the old idea intresting , about players writing down their stories , journals , letters and guides , into books.

iedea is simple , buy / make book , and "open" it and start writing in it.
let see does my "pic" work...
--------------------------------------
l           i*       l  a* b* c*  d*  l
l                 1*l    1*                l
l                     l                        l
l                     l                        l
l                     l                        l
l                     l                        l
l                     l                        l
--------------------------------k*-----

1* = the area where the text would be
a* = sign book , button adds signature of the books maker
b* = "copy text" copies the text of the book into another book (if empty and available in inventory) (adds signature too , change of failing , depending on "writing (?)" skill)
c* = name book ( gives a name that you choose to the book like "life of caranthir the great"
d* = close book (closes book)
k* = destroy book (this we should have too)
i*  = color of the ink

we should also have different kind of books , like book , fancy book , great book , outstanding book , or something .

to be able to write , the person would have to posess pen and bottle of ink (if many colors the i* wouldnt be needed)

what do you think , guys?
bror? think about it , im sure that many players would love it ;)

I love this idea, too!books shouldn't be expensive and endless!ok,or maybe 10 sites or so on!you should be able to have different kinds of writing and you have to learn writing and reading!thats important!like Caranthir said,a skill!hmmm, you should learn it from an npc!there are maybe 5 levels, and every level should need a lots of time to reach,or money to pay!

I read all topics, but I don't reply if I don't have anything new to say (I seem to be quite alone with this strategy of only posting new things...)

you have SOME point , but how about fresh opinions?
some old suggestions need to be dug up time to time , so new people can give their opinions about the idea.
yes , i knew that this was suggested , but i would really love the idea , and i think it was worthy enough to be dug up.

Sorry, this is off topic, but I nearly fell from my chair reading this comment. Neverthless, true it is, as I proof with my relpy. But I had to answer.

That was a good one, Bror. Thanks!
