Greetings,
I found this in another online rpg (Mercenaries of Astonia) and wonder if ths could be a solution for illarion too.
"Player Killing
Player killing is optional. If you want it, you have to enable it for your account. Once enabled, you can kill other players who have enabled it as well. And they can kill you. "
What do you think ? Its not the best one but maybe

The problem is people mass player killing for no reason, not the player killing itself.
People who don't want to get killed senselessly by a random PK shouldn't have to sacrifice the PvP interaction in battle that they can have with other roleplaying people.

and that leads into another problem -> annoying players who cannot be killed , who call ya names , insult ya ect...

Greetings,
maybe its possible to pking impossible( only knocking down , for robbery and justice purposes) and make some zones where it will be possible. Maybe a larger one for all the PKs where they can kill themselves all the day and eat them up and some smaller for duells between "good" players

No, else it would be the problem in these "no-killing-zones".

The only way I can see of random Pking coming to a stop is by using witnesses.
If someone is mass Pking then chance are a few people saw it. Get the numbers of all the players that have seen the Pking and make a list. This way we can keep track of all Pker and have proof and then they can be dealt with. Hopefully this will stop most random/mass Pkers
Else you could attach a pair of electrodes to their…..
