A day of strange occurences

In the early morning Konstantin awoke near the mountains caves.
He went underground for an exploration trip with a his friend, and they decided to play with their blades for a little while.
Blade to blade they clinged against one another and made sparks fly.
Suddenly... stump! stump! And a hungry roar!
A troop of Five Ogres jumped down to the caves, down the ladder they jumped, down the tunnels they ran, swinging their maces, clenching their teeth.
Dodge, stab, double-slice. The two friends survive the attack, but both badly injured.
"Have to warn BloodSkulls about this" - thought Konstantin after inspecting the Ogre corpses.
"Why would Ogres march into their area?"
Later that day
Konstantin travels through the desert sands, and sees a human male, not looking like a warrior, wandering passively through the dunes.
-Hello? Sir? - Konstantin asks.
The human stays silent, but his eyes express an animalic monstrous bloodlust.
-Are you armed, mister? - Konstantin asks.
Instead of an answer, the human approaches with a weapon ready for an attack. He seems to have not much conscience, resembling a mummy, or a troll. Konstantin retreated trying to negotiate.
-Hey mister, what are you doing?
Useless. Well, enough is enough. Konstantin seizes the negotiations and unholsters his blade. He handle-whips the man on the head with a hilt of his weapon, and the man falls down. Before Konstantin manages to search the human, he silently dies.
-Poor ... guy...
Konstantin buries the stranger's body in sand.
When Konstantin comes to the border of Troll's Bane, he sees that the entrance is blocked with an inpenetrable wall of huge tree roots.
-Nice day... nice day...
