After having some problems with Windows 98 and eventually reinstalling windows "over the top" of my old Windows 98 which seemed to cure the problems I was having i am now having problems starting Illarion.

When i double click on Illarion.exe I get the following Error message:

The ILLARION.EXE file is linked to missing export DDRAW.DLL:DirectDrawCreateEX.

and also the error message:

C:\unzipped\illarionv25win9X\illarion.exe

A device attatched to the system is not functioning.

I have reinstalled the client from the zip file but it still doesn't work, any help would be very...helpful

sounds like a problem with direct x, try to reinstall that.

I had this trouble when i used an old system at an internet cafe, like cassandra said my friend, it is just Direct X, instill a new client and you should be fine
