The english player GM chat would be hold at this Sunday the 08.08.2004 at 9 pm GMT at the IRC Network. The channel name is #illarion at a quakenet server.

This chat is to make proposals/sugestions or to talk about things you dont like in illarion. Which thing should be made better or should be changed and so on. I hope I see some of you there.

There are different freeware or shareware irc clients around.

try:

http://www.mirc.com/
http://www.icechat.net/

Or use Google:

http://www.google.de/search?hl=de&ie=UT ... ient&meta=

The server is any quakenet server.
de.quakenet.org (As example for a german Quakenet Server)
us.quakenet.org (As example for a US Quakenet Server)

the channel as i said it is :
#illarion

:( I still regret the fact that it is so late(Well, not for american players, but for us European players that do not speak German). So I might not be able to attend, since I have to work the next morning. Please give me the logs(if you have them)

Correct me if I am wrong.
Pacific = 1:00pm
Mountain = 2:00pm
Central = 3:00pm
Eastern = 4:00pm

Not everyone knows GMT time, just thought it might be helpful. I don't remember them teaching it in school.

If you get mirc : Fill in the info boxes that popup, then click "servers" on the dropdown for connect. They are in alphebetical order, so go down the quakenet and click it. I do not think it matters which server is selected, so click the "connect to server button". Wait and if you connect a "join a channel" box thing should pop up. Type in #illarion,click join.

Well, I still cannot get the damned thing to install, just like last time. So I won't be joining you all.....again.

Trillian does also support the usage of IRC, so maybe you can try to use this IM Tool instead of mIRC.

Alright ...

use that instead ...

http://www.funkysolutions.de/illarion/irc/illarion.html

Don't mind the message that this Java script has no Microsoft authentification. I haven't asked those guys for a certification for my *NIX server :wink:

But it will do everything you need for the chat.

IMPORTANT

To change your nickname, just type " /nick <name>".

I use Xchat - http://www.xchat.org/

I think it looks better... http://www.xchat.org/files/screenshots/ ... reen_1.png

The "+" (ex. +Randorr) marks are replaced with green and orange 3D looking spheres. ;)
