You're probably just use-clicking too much and once you stop it takes the game a while to catch up to you.

No.
I saw her cast the healing spell one time. It continued to cast the healing spell. Although, she had casted the spell on a person in front of her.
She was walking. And it would cast a spell to the side of her. Even though there was no one there and nothing was really happening. Either she was really casting it and losing magic. Or she was simply having the graphic go off on her. But she certainly wasn't lagging, even though with poopy AOL.

At least it's sensible.
Casting spells over and over like that with your concentration put into it, uncontrollable magic would cause you to faint. At least it makes sense.

I had a problem with a message that constantly came up " you can't see there". After trying many different things to stop it ,because it was interfering with my ability to do anything at all , I finally solved it. So try this, buy a can of "canned air" and blow your keyboard out really, really well. It solved my problem instantly,, all that because of some dust buildup.

It has nothing to do with a keyboard. Simply click your herbs, then click a tile next to your character. It will stop.
