He's an older player, or at least he was. I agree with you however, if less "veteran" players have to change their names, why do older ones get away with it.

Galim is the hebrew word for waves .
Well, but that i didn't knew the time i chose it. i just searched a name which is good for a dwarf and played around with G. There are Gimli, Gim, Gloin and so on. i was surprised to find out later that it is a hebrew word. and than a word for "waves". You know, dwarves don't like the ocean much.
