i was wondering if Illarion get new staff and if there was a way to speed things up. this game i hear is cool but the time it takes to get acepted is unreal i think they should get more staff. i know that it is hand picked so no idiots get on and talk to there friends like chat rooms but if there was more staff it would make the wait shorter and if this is in the wroung topic then sorry and if people would tell me how long it took for them to get acepted. thank you

Yes, the team do take on more staff, of course it's all voluntary and the acceptance work can be a little tedious for those who do it.
Next time you post can I ask you to do a few things? Can you use a little more punctuation, capital letters and the occasion comma where needed. I don't mean to sound picky, but it will make your posts better presented and more readable.

Do they only needs staff for the programming/design side, or do they also accept staff for forum moderation, player management etc?
Cheers.

Took me about 2 weeks to get accepted.
Not very unreal to me.

There is maybe 1-2 people who are forum moderators but do not help in development. If you think you could be an asset to the team in programming you should probobly contact one of them. Shi'voc is the lead server person, and Martin the lead graphics person. Don't know much else about the others. I know Cass can help with character problems if you have them.

If you have a graphic you want to submit, read the faq on the homepage, then submit to martin or in the graphics forum.

Alright, to clear some things up.
If we are looking for new members, we pick them out of our community. Measurements for that are:
- board activity
- ingame activity
- technical understanding
- good and fair roleplay
- knowledge of the English / German language (how about correct spellings and grammar?)
There are three expections to this ... server developers, client developers and graphics artists. If you expect to work in one of this three teams, please go into IRC (#Illarion on Quakenet) and talk to Shi'voc and Martin for more information.

Does sort of other graphic designers other than the isometric/3d count? like sort of logo designers, website designers, flash & shockwave designers etc count aswell?

They already have an all around web person, Alatar. Site admin.

Don't they want to expand their site a bit more (like a updated logo, more content and design, maybe even some flash) as i hasn't that site been up for 2 years + (since i have watched illarion grow), nice site, but don't people want a bit of an update?

I think it's simplicity is a bonus. It's clean, easy to navigate and not littered with obnoxious flashing images.

yea its nice. I was speaking to someone (another RPG site) about RPG site designs and they asked me for sites, and they said illarions navigation was a bit cluttered and that they prefered simpler navigation like
www.tildruin.com.
It was just a question really if sort of non avatar or game artists were counted as graphic artists
