Do attributes have an effect on herblore?

One of my characters is a grandmaster herblorist but I can't seem to find any of the new herbs, and I was wondering why this was.

I am unaware of my characters attributes as he was made a long time ago and there is no method i know of wherby I can determine them.

Help would be much appreciated.

I think some attributes have more or less affect on it.

Im pretey sure you need intel (but you have already chosen what that is).

i am pretty sure you need perception and dextarity-Perception becuse that is yours ences (vision, smell, touch,...) and dextarity becuase that it your finess-how you can handle something delicate like a frail flower, if you can get it withough crushing it
