And So It Begins...

A child runs along the beach, his feet brushing through the moist sand as the waves lick the shore. Seagulls soar over head, calling their songs across the water as the sun beats down upon everything; illuminating the land in a golden glow as it starts to desend.

A bottle washes ashore, its green glass shimering in the sun and catching the childs eye, and from his natural curiosity he bends down and picks it up. The waves seemed to break harder against his feet as he turns the bottle in his hands, before noticing the rolled up parchment tucked inside. He wedges the cork out and shakes the bottle into his hand, letting the neatly bound parchment fall into it. The paper was stained and tied with a soft green silk tie and a wax seal underneath, the child gently undoes the tie and carefully breaks the seal with his small fingers then slides the parchment open to read what was written inside...

The note was writen in an elegant hand, with the gentle flow of an elvish script...

Vedui' Sean-san
Amin naa tulien...

//Elvish - English//
Greetings Sean-san
I am coming...

The note was not signed, but a streak of what looked like blood was smudged across the bottom. The child gasped as he dropped the bottle and ran back to the town, the note fell to the ground and the black pettal of a rare black rose gently drifts to the ground behind him and lands softly in the breaking waves, brushing up against the bottle.

The note lays just down the beach from Sean-san's house, right where is was intended to be.

Iekka Sallou-m'Arri leans gently on the rail of her ship as she watches the waves break on the bow beneath her. She looks up over the waves to the island that was quickely approaching and smiles. The wind caught her fiery auborn hair and whipping out of the hood of her soft green elven cloak and infront of her. She brushed the strands of hair away, her green eyes shimering silver.

With her work done she returned back to the land that she had come from to keep her word with the one called San, she no longer had anywhere else to go, no one would accept her back home and it was time to start a new life in this new land.

"I'm coming..." She whispered as she turned from the railing and back to the helm. Ordering a crew member to ready a boat for her, she was going to arrive on his shore, other than at some comercial port.

After waking San walks along the beach, he spots something black on the white sand and picks up the letter, reading it he looks over the sea, and quickly, but quietly slips back to his house

Iekka sat in the small boat as she rowed it into shore, fighting against the rolling waves untill she felt the bottom of it hit sand. She picked up her small sac that she had with her, the hood of her dark green elven cloak shadowing her face, leaving everything but the strands of her hair to run out and down along the front of her. She looked back over to the cabin then straightened up and stepped into the waters and onto shore.

"I probably will have hell to pay..." She muttered under her breath as she started to walk towards the cabin.

He lays in bed staring at the ceiling

The letter could have been sent any time ago.... he thinks to himself ....so when will she be back?

"Where are you?" He mutters, not realising he said it out loud

Iekka, not making a sound as she walked through the sand stopped at San's door, cringed, then knocked lightly and waited to see if there was a response.

Iekka slowly opens his door, not taking his hood off and stands in the door way, looking through into his room where he lay on his bed. She didnt say a word.

San continues staring at the ceiling, almost uncaring

"What do you want?" He asks

Iekka didnt move, but her eyes seemed to flash silver in the dim light of his house.

"Is the job still open?" She asked cautiously.

His eyes widen and he nearly falls off his bed

Iekka lowers her hood to reveal her face, her long auborn hair falling around her face in waves. She wasnt expecting his response.

"Yes...it's me." She looks at him, her eyes softly questioning him.

He regains himself quickly and looks at her through the doorway

"Where the hell have you been?!"

She smiles softly, seeing the San that she had remembered from when they had first met. She tilted her head slightly then straightened up again.

"I had... things to...deal with, you could say." She said softly looking at him.

Iekka nodded again to him with the slight tilt of her head, still not moving from the place where she had entered.

"Understood." She said softly.

Iekka took a deep breath as she looked at him, then stepped in a foot further and shut the door behind her, then looked at San to see if he accepted it.

Iekka steps in and places her sac on the ground beside a chair and looked at him again.

'Why are you so nervus? Look, you still have the job and he hasnt tried to kill you yet.' Her thoughts traied off as she stood there.

Iekka looks at him.

"It is still early in the day." She said softly. "I do not need sleep as of now."

Iekka looked from San then back to the door.

" 'Quel du San." She says softly in elvish as she opens his door and steps out onto the beach and looks over the waves, leaning up against the side of his house.

San returns the next day, after meeting Damien and Phelix in town, he tosses his cloak onto the chair in the main room, and lays his sword on the table

"Iekka?" He calls out

Iekka stepped out from behind his house, a coconut in her hand with one of its eyes cut out and she took a sip. Her long auborum hair was loosly held back with a leather tie and the long white dress she wore gently flowing out behind her in the soft warm ocean breeze.

She looked at San over the coconut, her scimitar in her other hand held limp at her side.

"Yes?" She asked softly lowering the coconut, the wind catching her hair and pulling a few strands out behind her and her dress flowing like the waves.

"Yes, I am still around." She spoke as she stepped over a fallen branch and into the soft white sand, her bare feet not making a sound, then up into his house.

"So...what is to happen now?" She asked calmly.
