Push Abuse

I've been seeing this very often.

A certain lizard does it VERY often.

And I recently found an orc that was doing it.

For some reason, these people can push their characters at amazing rates that I've tried doing. Give them faster movement when running from battles or at someone.

I'm really just trying to find the secret to this bullshit.

If I recall, the player of Mort Tharr Hafr told me that you did something similar, Kasume, when Arcia and himself were attempting to defeat you.

I say, on player fighting, there should be less desire to turn your opponent into a fargin' cloud. If they back off, the player of the victor should simply think "he learned his lesson."

It's amazing, how fighters want so desperately to gain skill while they lower the skill of everybody else intentionally. :?

Hearsay is something you should give little thought to. I remember being attacked by Arcia and the orc. They are the ones who ran off. And Kasume DID let them go. Making them learn their lesson. Two minutes later, they come back and attack Irania and me again.

Fast... Maybe triple the speed of walking.

Edit : If I attempt to do it, there is a 2 second delay before I am pushed, and about a 1 second delay in returning back to walking. They have no delay from the looks of it.

First off, why the heck is this in the Tech support?!

Now then, down to business, *buttons up shirt :D * ...

If you push yourself its actually 2 times faster, not 3, considering that you have the Y axis and the X axis, and thats 2, Now when you push yourself, your going twice as fast, since you go diagonaly rather than forward then left...

Hmm. Well now i know your other char i suppose, as you did come up to me and confront me about this earlier...

Now then, Kasume, I use the #me command a LOT. In fact, when i attack, I use it about 2 -4 times before i actually kill somebody.

If you recall, I did "#me swings his axe" quite a few times. When I stop to type that, you keep running. However, in reality, I wouldnt stop running to suddenly swing my axe. So I do it to "catch up" if you will.

I believe Nilo's right. When I chased you one time, You logged off as well.

It's more like 1.5 times faster technically, and if your not going diagonal, its actually slower. Some people call it sprinting, others have no idea what they are talking about, like Kasume who whines(or spams) every chance he gets. Likewise, you abuse the ESC key on the top left hand corner of your keyboard, quite often it seems.

Pushing yourself is actually hoping.

So your characters were hoping the entire time? At extreme speeds? Hm?

And don't talk you super farmer/wizard/wall see througher.

Your paralyze/fire spell was lame. And your paralyze attack combo was STUPID.

When out of veiw, I usually log out. Because half of the time, like anyone in real life would REALLY DO, they would give up when the enemy is out of sight. People don't EVER give up though. They'll chase you across the ENTIRE FRIGGIN MAP just to kill you. And that certainly needs to stop. Usually after chasing someone out of the general area of where it happened, I have Kasume "get tired" and start doing pants. Meaning that I'm done and I'm not out to kill your skill.

When playing my character "Kasume" I give a 5 - 10 minute gap before I start attacking. At least it's what I try to do. I don't just walk up attacking.
If you recall, I did "#me swings his axe" quite a few times. When I stop to type that, you keep running. However, in reality, I wouldnt stop running to suddenly swing my axe. So I do it to "catch up" if you will.
You were THREE sqaures away from me when you did that #me. If you wish, you can prepare it already typed and press enter when near.

Because it's a Tech question. Not a complaint. And that's what you all don't understand.

Edit : Also, no need to get defensive Fooser. You only do it everytime you're on.
