I'm not talking about putting in a new skill, but how long can one really fight for? After the first few rounds in a heavy weight boxing match (remember they even have breaks) they start to tire.
So perhaps the longer you fight, the more 'encumberance' you gain, so you need to eat something. Pretty much like lumberjacking. This would also prevent people powergaming too long.
Also, when hit your movement speed should be reduced for a few seconds due to pain. This would make fighting more realistic as people wouldn't just be able to run away from a fight so fast. (Remembering how in the past town guards complained how people they hit with a war axe/hammer just ran away like it was nothing)
I think this would bring a little more balance between mages and fighters after the recent changes to mages that apparently happened.
Anyway, these are just some basic thoughs, so now I leave it to be discussed...
Fighting stamina.

Unless they cheat with the paralysis/flame combo, yes, they are, a little bit. One of my characters, who knew about and used every rune, lost just about every conflict he's ever been in because he'd blast the opponent a few times before the opponent chased him, to slash him into a cloud form.Kasume wrote:You honestly think mages are at the disadvantage right now?
Not to mention there's the wearing of no metal when trying to cast, and the fact that one or two powerful spells eat up your mana like crazy.
