i keep coming up with better and better names, and i keep resending my application, is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Bad thing, because you spam the inbox of the Account Team and you are only allowed to send in one character at the beginning.
(Multiple request tend to get deleted)

ok, so is there a way i can start over completely and just get a final name once and for all or is there going to be a stain on my name?

oh yah, is there a way i can contact the "application checkers" (lack of a better word) and tell them my dilehma?

I dont know how many names you already submitted, but they mainly choose the first and delete everything what you have sended them afterwards.

Just stop submitting useless names.
If you get accepted you can start guessing which of your characters got accepted.
