On the Sand

After a day near the river, Fooser travels southward, he avoids the prison due to his bad memories, and his exhaustion, not wanting to deal with skeletons. He goes around, and south past the prison to the southern tip of the forest. He comes out of the forest, to a small beach, the waves moving in and out slowly. This had been his home for some time. He walks over and slowly sits on the peach-brown sand. He looks north, first in the direction of trollsbane, then the direction of Northerot. He sighs and pulls a piece of leather over himself and falls asleep.
A few hours go by, night-time becomes darker. The outline of the forest tree's can no longer be seen due to the darkness. The waves continue to come in, and go out, steadily back and forth. The waves make the only audible sound. A few skeletons wander south from near the prison. They walk around the forest aimlessly, and come to the edge of the forest. They spot the lizard sleeping quietly on the sand and they begin to walk slowly toward him. Their toe bones creak against the ground, but it does not wake the exhausted lizard.
The three skeletons creep all the way to him, and all three of them stand over the sleeping Fooser. Each of them slowly draw their poorly made swords and look at eachother for a moment. One of the skeletons points his sword downward and thrusts it into Fooser's leg. Fooser's eyes pop open quickly, and he looks down at the wound in his leg. The second skeleton then thrusts downward, and stabs his sword into Fooser's back. Fooser, barely able to stand, has no time to draw his weapon, and he merely punches one of the skeletons, and the skeleton falls over from the impact.
The skeleton then gets up off the sand and they all circle in on Fooser again, one of the skeletons clenches their boney fist and punches Fooser back, and he lands back onto the sand, unconscious. Blood flows out of his two wounds, and the skeletons decide to drag the body toward the water and dump it. Fooser's body gets dragged along the sand easily, and the skeletons drag it to the edge of the water. The waves move out, then back in, as they do water moves over the lizard, and his body slowly moves out toward the sea. He falls slowly to the bottom, able to breathe due to his lizard adaptations. The blood continues to flow out of the wounds in his leg, and his back. Much of the water near the beach has turned a reddish color from the blood, but there is no longer a visible body to be found.
