The best RPG PC game i've ever played was ADOM rougelike roleplay game, maybe i loved it so much because it main idea was surviving, and the base of surviving is eating and drinking, i trully don't know if it is in game (waiting for my question for activation) but from what i saw there isn't, would be great if our characters would have to eat and drink, starving don't have to kill you, may just lower your stats and skills but still getting water, and getting for, or gathering supplies for journey to dungeon is something great, and i think its not so hard to make, just put 2 bars "food" and "water" make them on 100% and they may fall by time, like during whole day without eating they would become 0% and then all stats fall to 1/2. But as i said, some may think its annoyto take rations with them and have some bottle with water just in case, but its about roleplay right and making it as realistic as possible, i think it would be fun?

Well you can eat and drink in Illarion very much there is "beer", whine, water, tea, and other kidns of fluid things than you can eat bread, rolls, two kinds of fish, appels, cherries, berries etc.
We don't need any bars for hungry and thirsty when you fight or work long you need some rest and maybe something to eat ,maybe you should wait untill you are in the game the most problems going away after some minuts playing.

It depends on the activity. If you don`t do anything, then you don`t need food. But, if you play a smither, miner, carpenter etc., you must eat regularly. Each of their job relevant actions cost energy. If your char becomes hungry you get a message.
