The German TV channel Pro7 made an animation contest recently. Therefore they offer the free download of Poser 3.
Just if anyone is interested, here's the download.

This is a legal full version with a possibility to upgrade (for 90 days). Fill out the form for receiving the serial number.

Ja, etwa ein viertel Jahr. Aber für Grafikenthusiasten (und die, die es noch werden wollen) ist eine kostenlose 3er Version besser als eine überteuerte 5er Version.

Sean, I am not sure if this version can be set to English. But I am sure you find a legal English-language download as well.
And even if you don't find an English download, just fetch the serial number which makes ANY version of Poser 3.0 legal.
Indeed it is the serial number which divides between a legal and a illegal version

In Poser 3, How do you get hair on the guy? Or a different facial struture? I tried exporting it to an english 3d program, but it wont export to the file type. Anyone know how to export it to be .3do or .an8 ?

If it is possible then only by plugins.
You can, however, put hair on that guys by adding hair. I don't see a problem there.
