Val stood on the boat's deck and watched as the approached a nearby land. He was to anxious and left without a response from Arkadia. In his sack lied his father's leg which he dug up a day back. They pulled closer to the port and Val hobbled down the ladder slowly. He looked around the city to get some bearings. There was a sign labeled "Apothercary John". Val nodded to himself and went in. As he walked in a young man with blonde hair cut in a manner of a bowl welcomed him.

"Come in Come in...How may I help you?" John said

"I need to..." Val swung his bag around and opened it revealing part of a foot "Time is of the essence. This leg is worn already a few weeks. Can you help?"

John covered his mouth "Dear! That is foul....I don't agree but I know someone who can...well...help you" John began writing

"Thank you...John." Val took the paper and moved as fast as he could to the given direction. A few coins dropped on the table as he left[/i]

Val had reached the building and walked in. On the note it had a name "Henry Olander". The man got up and greeted him.

"Henry I assume..." Val said

"Yes I am him. Who are you?" Henry said nervously

"I am Val De Gausse, John sent me to you"

"Oh. The apothecary, yes I know him. Now what is it you want?"

"I need something...attached." Val swung the bag around

"What?" Henry asked looking at Val's peg leg.

Val took out a leg and held it up.

"This, my father's leg...John said you could do it for me. I am willing to pay"

"Yes...but follow me"

Henry pulled a lever opening a door. They walked down a stair case and he motioned for Val to lay down on a wooden table. Val did so and handed him the leg. As he sewed it on he said...

"You must know, this won't be a easy. There will be side effects."

"Such as?"

"Well you mentioned this was your father...you may get some of his past memories or feelings. Also you never know what could happen during the ceremony. Your body is open to all sorts of things." Henry finished sewing

"There now let me set things up...you just lay back and close your eyes"

Henry began to light many red candles. He placed them around the table and prayed. The room glowed a dark red and storm clouds rolled into the city creating thunder. After a few moments Henry left and all went black

Val awoke in the darkness. After a bit of stumbling he began to walk towards a patch of square light coming from the door. Once he climbed the steps he pushed and the wall opened. Shocked a bit he went out and looked for Henry. A small note lay on a table, it read:

Dear Val,
Sorry for my departure. I had a meeting to
attend to. The ceremony went fine in my opinion.
I sensed a few bad spirits lingering around, but I
left short after. I didn't want my life at risk either.
I hope you understand, for this payment is not
necessary. Good luck!

Val glanced over the note and smirked. He looked at his leg. It feeled fine and so did he for now. The stitches were still red and swollen, but it seemed Henry did a fine job. He picked up his bag and went to the nearby port. Now he was ready once again and hopped on the ship.

As Val came closer to the port in Northerot he sat back and relaxed. Everything was perfect and his father's leg was nice. As the ship approached Val's leg twitched. Val nodded and shrugged it off. A few minutes later his leg twitched more violently. Val messaged it making it feel better. He kicked his legs up on a crate and the leg knocked itself off. This continued for about 30 minutes after that it calm down. Val just shrugged. It wasn't too bad.


As fell stepped on the island his leg twitched and he fell over.


"Must not be use to it"

He got up and it stopped. He walked over to a cave and slept.
