we should be able to search for "Authors" of books...
then we should be able to read his/hers book....
and people should be able to write books themselfes...
and maybe there should be a chance to browse it...
but only browse the names that have written a book...

and each "book" must be over 250 signs/words/sentences
so noone will write a book... called "123" and contains the word "25347" and nothing else...

Hmm, I think this isn't possible at the moment. There are some other problems to be solved before!!!

But: In my mind comes a certain idea of a homepage. It's similiar to Nanuk's Moonsilver page. But every visitor can write his own books there and put them into the library. It's like these typical guestbooks, but much more like a library, you know what I mean?

Anyone here with some good knowledge in programming CGI/Perl?

Look at Damien's signature ... THERE IS THE LINK!

But if I understood you right, you want an INGAME library, right?

The programmers aren't able to make this at the moment. Some more important stuff is to do.

But Leif, are you good in programming C++ ? Or even Perl/CGI?
