I'm trying to get into the #illarion chat area, but it won't let me. It reads:
Connecting to de.quakenet.org (6668)
Afterwards, it reads:
Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out)
I am using the library computer, so I figured that would be the problem. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this?

I use the Server: splatterworld.de.quakenet.org
and Port: 6667
It works perfect.

I don't use splatterworld....

/me wonders what splatterworld is all about.
Anyway I use de.quakenet.org...and it is there in your list, just look at quakenet, and you see random DE server. Just click on it, let it connect and type in #illarion as you get the channel select screen and you are there
((P.S I don't have 6668...but 6667. Not that that is going to be a difference or anything I think))

You don't need it in your list (though you can add it if you want).
When you're in mirc just type:
/server splatterworld.de.quakenet.org
and it'll switch.

I typed that in to. After a long time of loading, I get the following message: Unable to connect to server.
Though, I am doing this on my school's computer. I think maybe it just won't work because of the server that the school is running on or something.
If anyone happends to know another solution, please reply here.
Thank you.
