To be honest, I never read this text before. Not that anything on this page is untrue or wrong, but if I as a newbie read this, I´d not think that this game is a promising choice to play. There are few words what makes Illarion so special compared to other games and many words what the player can do wrong. I suggest to change this text into a more positive meaning. A newbie has not the slighest clue what Illa is all about and the first thing he/she reads is this text.

Um ehrlich zu sein habe ich diesen Text vorher noch nie gelesen. Nicht, dass irgendetwas unwahr oder gar falsch wäre, aber wenn ich als Newbie diesen Text lesen würde, würde ich kaum denken, dass Illa eine vielversprechende Wahl ist. Nur wenige Worte beschreiben, was so speziell an Illa ist, dafür steht in aller Ausführlichkeit, was man so alles falsch machen kann. Ich empfehle, diesen Text ein wenig positiver auszudrücken, denn er ist das erste, was ein Newbie über Illa ließt und erfährt.

That is exactly what I mean. It is the truth, but the truth is wrapped into negative words. Illa is not bad. / Illa is good. What sounds better? This text is some sort of invitation to a game that is supposed to make fun.

Hab mal eben ein bisschen den Text aufgebohrt, ohne den Inhalt zu verdrehen.

Illarion ist ein grafisches mittelalterliches Fantasy-Spiel, welches seinen Schwerpunkt auf Rollenspiel legt. In diesem Online-Spiel geht wirklich um Rollenspiel, weniger ums 'hochleveln' oder Monsterjagen – es gibt auch keine Erfahrungspunkte. Die Belohnungen dieses Spiels sind weitaus vielschichtiger als Zahlen und Goldstücke, so treffen sich Spieler aus der ganzen Welt in der Welt Illarions, um mit ihren Charakteren Abenteuer zu erleben, zu Feiern oder einfach, um Geschichten über ferne Länder am Lagerfeuer zu erzählen.

Du interagierst mit anderen Spielern und Deiner Umgebung als ob Du mitten in dieser Welt lebst. Alle Charaktere um dich herum werden sich wie echte Wesen einer eigenständigen, geheimnisvollen Welt verhalten. Sie reden nicht von "E-Mails", "Computern" oder ähnlichem sondern von Zauberern, Geistern und Fabelwesen. Auch du wirst dich dem Zauber dieser Welt nicht entziehen können und es ihnen gleich tun.

Wenn Du allerdings ein Spiel spielen möchtest bei dem das Ziel ist, rasch ein Level nach dem anderen zu erreichen, alles was sich bewegt abzuschlachten oder soviel Fähigkeiten wie möglich zu erlangen, dann ist dieses Spiel leider nicht für Dich geeignet. Dieses Spiel ist für Spieler ab 16 Jahren empfohlen. Lies bitte die Spielregeln und Namensregeln (für Deinen Charakter) durch, bevor Du mit dem Spielen beginnst, damit Dein reibungsloser Einstieg in die Welt Illarions gelingt.

Um mitspielen zu können, lade das Spiel herunter und erstelle zuerst Deinen eigenen Charakter. Um dich einloggen zu können musst Du danach einen Account auf dieser Seite beantragen, um Dich für die Zulassung (Account) zu bewerben. Du erhältst danach eine Antwort in der wir Dich bitten werden, einige Fragen über Rollenspiel zu beantworten. Sobald Du Deine Antworten zurück geschickt hast, erfährst Du erneut via E-Mail ob Du angenommen wurdest. Momentan erhalten wir sehr viele solcher E-Mails, so kann es leider ein wenig Zeit (momentan ca. eine Woche) benötigen bevor wir zu Deiner kommen. Bitte habe Geduld und sende Deine E-Mails nicht mehrmals.

llarion is a graphical medieval fantasy game that focuses on roleplaying. This game is about true roleplaying, not that much about levelling up or hunting monsters – there are no experience points, too. The rewards granted by this game are much more convenient than numbers and gold pieces. Players from all around the world gather in the world of Illarion to experience adventures with their characters, to celebrate or to simply tell stories of foreign realms at a campfire.

You´ll interact with other people and your environment as if you were a person in a real medieval fantasy world. All characters around will behave like real beings of a independent, mysterious world. They won´t talk about "emails", "computer" or the like but about magicians, spirits and faeries. Even you won´t resist the magic of this world and you´ll behave the same way.

But if you want to play a game where the objective is to level up and kill things or gain as much skill as possible, then this is not the game for you. This game is recommended for ages 16 and over. Please read the game rules and name rules before you play, so you start the game more easily.

If you want to play with us, download the game and create your own character as soon as possible. Afterwards, to log in to the actual playing area of Illarion please visit this web site to apply for an account.
