Currently my character Tari is in jail and I know the jail door used to be open so others could walk in and see the prisoners and talk to them. Why is it now closed? I am roleplaying Tari to have lost her mind, and the only place she will actually communicate with others is while she is in jail, but now that is very hard because people now only come to jail to fight skeletons, and it is hard to talk and fight at the same time...

Why not open up the door? Why was it closed in the first place? I tried a search for this topic but did not find anything, but maybe I missed something. Please, GM's and others who know why the door is closed, tell me why. If it would be possible, I would like it if you opened it please.

because jailed persons got killed by guys with bows and magic from the outside?

Well then maybe the GM's should make it so you cannot attack someone in jail and someone in jail can't attack you?

more reasons than just that; Also people could get onto other chars, and put pots and chests down there, log back on and appear out of the jaill.. that is another reason for the extra wall.

Well, that right there is using a game technicality for in game pruposes which is looked very badly upon. Hpwever, people can still visit you and talk to you, so I see no reason to open it. When I was in game...my many times, people always came and talked to me.
