there was never a rule about "paralysing" before. yes, i casted paralyse more than one time in the past, but after i read falks posting i won't do it again. i haven't knew that it is forbidden. well, of course i haven't used it to kill someone. well, a question, does that means it is forbidden to cast more than one paralyse on monsters too?

I did not say it is forbidden. What I said came from my point of view. To paralize someone is part of magical warfare, sure. But to use it again and again against the same person just means to me, that the player does not want to interact with his opposite but simply use it for its technical effect.

If you are paralized you can't even talk. So the mage should give his opposite the possibility to act between two paralize spells, that what I wanted to say.

I don't care if they have to wear leather armour, all they have to do is one spell ONE QUICK SPELL and you are screwed now matter what happens if that spell is casted on you your just just SCREWED...

Paralize is just to strong..

Bloodhearte said this in another thread, but I think making it so you can only cast 1 paralysis spell and others after it do nothing is a great idea.

How about this... Paralisis is a fearsome thing, but maybe the mage needs to concentrate heavily on it to keep the character paralised. How about, a mage can only cast paralisis on 1 character at a single time. If it cast one character A then on character B, character A is freed from the tangly vines because the mage loses concentration on it.
This will help make it more even since a single warrior will fear mages, but two, three or four will be able to handle a single mage.
