I Xelfer Boxen wish to join this city that is claimed as the home of the elves, I came from my homeland just yesterday and arrived at Trollsbane and I have never seen this city but I am willing to join as looks are deceiving. I am currently trying to be a smith but step by step I must go, for the money I bought with me was not enough, I need 1000 so I am mining for Iron ore and selling it for coins.

As was discussed and approved in a recent meeting of some elves, it has been decided that memberlists are no longer a part of Vanima. All elves are automatically welcome upon Vanima. So feel free to visit Tol Vanima, mayhap even purely for it's beauty.

I disagree strongly with this. We no longer keep a tab on our citizens? So any renegade elf can do what s/he likes? And if they do not know our laws, they can still enter? I demand strongly that we keep a member's list, with the conditions for joining (the laws) present, and what is expected of them. Otherwise, we will find problems with voting in the future, or with Vanima itself.

You do know that this does not mean we will allow "renegade" elves upon the island? We cannot deny access of the island for peacefull and non-hostile elves, for it is the home of all elves. Do not think we let them go their way there, but it is their home too. Be more trustfull of your brethren, atleast most of them.

You need only ONE elf to set Vanima on fire, or cut its trees down. Remeber the elf Misjbar? His invitation to Vanima had been removed.

And if no-one is a citizen, who will remove a corrupt elder if he or she is present?

Also, in the case of the buying of new goods to be enjoyed by citizens, donations may be collected more efficiancy.

We can allow all elves to join, but at least keep a mark of their names.

This time I have to agree Eliron, dear Misjilah. We really have to keep an eye on the citiziens. Non-citizien can still visit our beautiful isle but they shouldn't have all those rights which a citizien has. Although I wish this wouldn't be true, but there are enough "bad" elves outside and I don't want to expect someone to live together with them.
