The time period illarion is in the medieval era applies to technology as Separdum said, what goes on comes from fantasy hence the elves, dwarves, magic etc. etc.

This is off topic, I know.

This is what I have concluded from reading all the posts.
1. Realism applies to what the setting and enviroment is. (Hence, Illarion
has magic so it is realistic to the people in Illarion.) I already knew
this.
2. There are 8 1/2 pages of off topic posts.
3. Ellarith and Paul likes to post.
4. Ellarith posts long posts.
5. Paul likes to post short posts.

This was a bunch of useless reading to come to these conclusions

Armil, if you allow me i would like to add:

4a. Ellartihs long posts still contain valuable informations, even if her position in the discussion is lost. It seems she like to discuss, which is not meant as pesonal fault of her.
5a. Paul is a Spammer, most of his post are way off topic or without sense, or simply flaming another Poster.

@Armil Obviously, you read without any understanding. Too bad you spending so much time did not help you at all. You need to read again and slowly absorb the contents. You have no right to criticize the thread when you do not understand what it is truly about. And I do not "like" to post! I do it in an attempt to help people like YOU understand and be better Rpers. As well, noone needs to hear your "observations" that are exceedingly off-topic as you yourself admitted. Keep such thoughts to yourself please! Think before you post.

Another thread that has gone WAAY off topic with no more fruitful discussion.

I will agree, however, that Paul Laffing does tend to post a lot of off topic posts. We should all try not to do that.

And this is on topic becuase... this thread is hereby closed.
