As I'm baking these Pies and Cakes, it gives me some time to think about things too. Now that all the shares are sold, we can talk about the expected 'dividends' at the end of Ushos.
All Shareholders have to do is submit a list of prices for ten goods in their craft and then sit back and watch the price of their shares increase.
The 'Value' of the shares was based upon the first Quarter's profits of 33 Silvers. 30 for minor crafts and 40 for major ones seemed fair. Now, if anyone has noticed, this quarter's profits have been wonderful! An increase of almost 400%! So the increase was applied to the share's 'Value' and that's how the shares suddenly jumped up to 140 and 108. This is 'Silvers' folks.
What you can do now is 'withdraw' some of the 'value' as a 'dividend' or just leave it. Right now is not a good time to withdraw all of it (Because the Treasury is small) but we can withdraw some if you like.
I recommend that shares stay in, because the 'percentage' next quarter will affect more value, increaseing the value. But it's up to you.
If you withdraw money, the 'value' of your share will decrease likewise. Understand?
Now, because I am not greedy, and I want the company owned by as many members as possible, I will sell all my shares but two (Mining and Smithing) at 50% value to members. Otherwise you have to negotiate with their owners.
It sounds a little complicated, but I assure you it is not. Please ask with any questions.
Thank you,
~Bernie

Greetings all!
I want to encourage all members to come up with ideas for developing the Midlands "New Haven Project". I have plenty and I'll run a few of them by you for input and ideas. One rule though, the idea must be profitable somehow. We won't build something if it serves no purpose.
I'd also like the project we are about to build to be semi-democratic. Too many people gets nothing done, but only one becomes a dictatorship. The only fair way to do it is to put major decisions upon the Shareholders. I've decided that as another 'benefit' to owning a share, the shareholder also gets a 'vote' for each share they hold. That way, the people who have 'invested' money in the Guild, get to 'vote' on how to proceed with this Project and how to operate it. There can be no ties, because there are 15 votes.

Who else wants a share? - Talk to me about it. I only intend to keep 2 shares.
Now some ideas to think about. Members only, please send me a dove about them if you have ideas or concerns.
Plan 1) The old property known as 'Garon's Goldsmithy' could become our new "Guild Hall". It will be available to all members and the old Guild Hall will be turned back to Trollsbane to help another Guild to get a start.
Plan 2) The room next to 'Garons' known as the Poker Room needs something on it. I propose building a 'Gambling House' on top with Games and drinks for patrons, and maybe a 'bordello' below where 'couples' can be alone.
Plan 3) The Theater needs to become active once again. I propose sponsoring local Bards to come and play weekly for the people of Trollsbane. These weekly shows would be free and encourage public relations. Other events such as 'Auctions', 'Beauty Contests' and 'Fashion Shows' could also be held and tickets sold.
Plan 4) We could ask for donations from people in order to build an Assay Office on top of the mine which would buy-sell Ores and have a public Depot closer to the mine. I think anyone who has ever mined there, 'wishes' there was a depot closer to it.
Plan 5) We could also use a new public 'Plaza' by the teleporter. Something that welcomes people to Trollsbane and says "People are here". A gathering spot by the teleporter would be ideal. Maybe chairs, tables and fountains like at Varshikar.
Plan 6) Around this 'Plaza' we could build several small shops and workshops to attract merchants and craftsmen. These could be sold or just rented out.
Plan 7) I also like the idea of a 'Coliseum' west of the current Theater. A proper place for swordsmen to show off their talents in front of roaring crowds. Maybe even have some 'monsters' there for them to fight.
Plan 8 ) A Guardhouse at the edge of town could provide a place for Guards to sleep, jail prisoners or just to watch people as they enter the eastern Gate.
Plan 9) Finally, I thought a 'Church' or Temple (Like in Varshikar) for the faithful and weddings. The Library has a 'chapel' but it's too small for proper weddings. We would need to seek out spiritual leaders to guide us in this too.
Well, thats a lot to think about, and I'll enjoy hearing your ideas. I'll update these 'plans' with details and drawings as we get more information and then put them to votes by the shareholders.
Have fun thinking!

*a man wearng a green robe his black hair down to his sholders walks by the board and reads some of the proposals and stops on the one about the mine and writes a quike note and puts it up with a nail*
Bernie there is a depot in the bottom of the mine in garons old place but it is behind locked door all you wouldd to do is keep that door unlocked
and the miners can go in there and drop off there ore in there. i just thought i would tell you this.

Ah, thanks Zach. I didn't know that. I haven't had the chance to see inside yet. Perhaps there more behind those doors than I thought? Something like that shouldn't be locked. We will fix that soon.
Thanks.

Sorry Zach.
Darius and his Grovestriders are already protecting the Town, and should stay concentrated on that. There are not many enough to go around. We are working on an 'in-house' solution.

I am in Greenbriar baking like crazy to finish the cooking Orders. I have posted some new Orders for the smiths and I still have some deliveries to make.
@ Gibble - I need to see you asap for those stones. The customer is getting anxious.
Also, I'd like to ask for some help with the mining orders. Gabriel has already helped some, but we need it by this week-end if possible.
I have ordered keys from a key-smith, and will announce whn we can use the midlands buildings soon. Keep coming with your ideas and plans! I put the updated ideas on page 7, with "Charities and Philanthropy" and we'll start with Plans 1-4 soon. I'll draft up some costs and post those.
Thank you,

Pheww!
I've completed the new Board and broken up all those 'pages' from our old Board into Boards of their own. I hope things are easier to find now, and it should help efficiency too!
Please use the new Board ((At the bottoms of the forums page)) for all correspondance from now on. Customers may use certain boards to Order goods, look up ther favorite craftsmen and see what we have to offer.
I'll be refining it the next few days, so let me know if you have ideas for improving it!
