If everything goes as scheduled, voting will begin this upcoming day, I assume on the second floor of the library, there will be small books for each person, walk up to the one of who you choose and write your name.

Land Laws

It seemed everyone came to agreement that the current property standards are fine. They include:
1. No payment for the land itself by citizens.
2. Selling and auctioning property can old be given to a citizen or town using the land for diplomatic purposes.
3. Citizens will not have any weekly or timed tax.
4. All property in Troll's Bane, besides embassies, are under Troll's Bane law.
5. Property and buildings can't be taken away unless the owner gives it back, or the owner breaks the law.
6. Owners are the kings of their property- if you knowingly trespass or disrespect them, they may remove you or make a complaint.

Other news, Artimer has purchased ownership rights to the northern flat.
Banduk Robberhauf has made an agreement with the town to acquire the roofed area in the market.

Altrix has been promoted to full guard by myself, if he hasn't been already.
Julius Rothman is suspended from the guard.
All mercenaries have been removed due to inactivity, contact if you come back.

On that note, I don't care about land outside of Troll's Bane, I don't care about who said what when, I don't care about who said what about who. I care about honest-to-Gods citizens of Troll's Bane, who want to improve their home, improve the town for their sake, and for the sake of the future, and who actually care about keeping prosperity in Troll's Bane and not sending it elsewhere. I'm not interested in those using the town for free money, I'm not interested in those who are looking to send resources outside of the town. If you don't care about the town, or even worse, are just using it for your own reasons, you are useless to me and I don't plan on wasting valuable space and the peoples money on you. If you fit in this category step up and say so and remove yourself from the list, instead of making me do it.

Threats have been made against the island, and the month of Mas is almost here, and I see nothing more than squabbling. Other towns ignore the threats completely. If everyone wishes to keep fighting amongst themselves and abusing the town for selfish reasons, while the walls are breached and people die, fine, I'll find this prophetking and punch him myself if I have to. If the town falls and everyone falls back to our final position, and there are fifty people who don't give a damn about the town, then I don't care about you. If there is but a single person huddled in the corner, who actually does care about the town, be damn sure I will step in the enemies way.

Final word on this: don't make me deal with your outside nonsense, and get your act together or we are all in trouble.

I've been rash, and if you think I've been unfair to you this week, write or meet me, and what you say better be damn convincing to put me in a better mood.

Fooser, I have a packet of landscape improvement proposals, including drawings and maps. Main topics are: Improved guard towers, straighter roads, added bridges. Where can I post them and how can I address them? Is there actually even a chance to get those proposals heard?

The town is currently on high alert for any suspicious activity, month of Mas is here as we speak. We also have information coming in at a steady pace from our deep within our enemies ranks, from multiple sources. If any guards can patrol extra time, please do so. If anyone notices danger, please write it on the wall or sound the alarm.

Troll's Bane applauds the recent development in the isle of Briar, returning leadership to the halflings. In the old days of the Evergreen Halflings the town was created and made viable, and it would make sense it returns to the halflings as well. We wish the current halflings luck in the coming days.

Also, it is with much relief that I report to all the citizens and visitors of Troll's Bane that today with the help of the Knights of Gobaith, Konrad, Shena, Kadiya, and Gabon the kidnapper named Scall was captured and imprisoned today. I leave it to the High Judge and the Governor to decide the punishment but I believe it is time that Troll's Bane made a serious statement that this behavior will not be tolerated. Scall was the one responsible for the kidnapping of Kaila Galathil and seeking a ransom of 500 silvers.

Capturing or holding someone against his will is a crime against the laws. This does not apply to criminals and a guard or other representative of government is never committing a kidnapping. It should be noted, that only Citizens and Residents will be protected against kidnapping. (Kidnapping of a citizen should be treated as III.III crime)

Class II. II. offense: D. Resisting Arrest
He did not attack anyone during the arrest, only attempted to jerk himself free when taking him to prison.
