It is not because of the number of special characters you already have, but for the reason you said why you apply for another special char.

Someone playing his new unlocked character in an unfitting way will soon seem himself stripped from said special character.
Oh, and not many made it through the first checks.

Just because i worded it in a strange way that does not seem so good.

LOL am i the only one who, tho it does seem awesome to have new characters, is not really excited to have a new graphic for a character that will ultimately be played horribly wrong and the goblins will end up like orcs, the fairies like halflings and the gnomes like dwarves?

No, I agree.

Actually, I don't think I will be playing any of the new races at all.
Maybe in 6-12 months when it calmed about them a little.

Hurrah, I agree. What's next - Dogmen?

What Sess'sth is trying to say, is that lizards will always dominate all other races so any discussion on races is completely irrelevant.

The Dogmen (Gnoll) have been aviable since some time already, however not as a player race.

just like it was filled with mages when magic came out? and just like it will always be filled with strong, handsome, human warriors? Don't act like it's a suprise.

What's wrong with that? Naturally when something new happens you try it out, otherwise having the same thing forever gets boring doesn't it? Doesn't matter anyways, although Illarion is a free RPG, it's starting to gain the qualities and seperations of a P2P style one. Every new feature is completely restricted,
Magic- Have to RP a certain way
New Races- Have to RP and act a certain way
Future changes - ??
And it's basically the same people over and over, and this usually is accomplished by trading in ego and brown nose points instead of $$.

What's the reason behind asking why you want to play a special character? Erm.. because we do?

They're trying to stop people who have no freaking idea how to RP the new races from doing a horrible job.

There's a lot of stuff that isn't RPed right, why press it here?

just because they cant make good RP everywhere, doesnt mean you give up on trying

Hm? I was just asking why they ask that, not about bad RP at times.

they do it so there arent 1000 fairies in trollsbane acting like noobs
