Iekka acctualy fell into a sleep, though the slightest movement that was out of place could have woken her with her dagger once again firmly grasped in her hand. She drifted into a dream.
A hot wind blew through the empty streets and the long lost echo of childrems laughter, and the shadows of their play could be seen. The shutters of the shops bangged and clattered as they swung back and forth. An elven woman and a human man walked out from one of the buildings and approached Iekka with open arms, blood pouring down their faces and their clothing tattered. The woman placed her hand on Iekka's shoulder.
Iekka rolled over slightly as though someone had really touched her.
The winds picked up and a ball rolled behind Iekka and she turned to watch it go by then turned back to the woman, her mother, and the man, her father, but they were not there when she looked back. She looked down at the bloody knife in her hand then up to the crimson sky as black clouds seemed to billow into it.
"I killed them..." She whispered.
She awoke with tears streaming down her face, and heard her words that she whispered, they did not stay in her dream. Iekka sat herself up and placed her head in her hands as she whiped the tears from her eyes and glared at the ground. She didnt want to have to care.
With a sigh she closed her eyes. Tomorrow she wouldnt be able to drown out her pain in the bottle, she would have to bare it out...

Iekka looked down at San as he slept then remembered something and got up, picking her things as she left the house, and pulling her cloak over her.
She wrote a quick note that she left on San's table, it read.:
Dear Sean-san,
My appologies for this sudden departure, but urgert matters call.
When I return you will know.
-Iekka Sallou-m'Arri
She fled his house and ran through the rain across the shore, whistling for her horse. Sheather came and ran beside her and she jumpped on.
"Quickely, I need to get to the docks..." She whispered to him as she rode.

San gets the note that day, muttering something about incompetence, he continues his daily activities for the next few days.
On the fourth day, he wakes up late, wondering why, he grabs his cloak off the chair, and heads off for the grey light meeting damien called.
Entering the library, he sees a man waiting for someone, He stands there commercing with the man, whom he later found out to be Phelix Vierwind.
A moment later, a strange man comes into the library seeking him. When Sean asks his name, he says "nobody" and runs off. It seemed odd to him, but he went looking for damien anyway.
Not finding damien he returns to the library, where damien eventually arrives
During the meeting, it becomes evident that he will become a novice soon, but just after Phelix is made adjutor, he is called forward by damien.
After the words are spoken, and things are cleared up, Sean Elaski has become a Novice of the grey light order.
After a short stay with phelix, and damien, and another mysterious human, he takes off home, where he flops onto his bed, almost half expecting Iekka to walk in at any moment he takes out one of the daggers damien handed to him and admires it, before placing it with the other weapons, then he falls asleep.
