I wanted to make it not really public, but it seems i have no other choice. Still, I would be glad to become a citizin of Varshikar. For a long time I look after this wish, however, my steps were always interrupted and to be honest, I have enough of the city of Troll Bane. Finally, I would like to live in peace, and this in an area very much close to me. I would be glad to hear something from your side.

The new houses are still up for sale to citizens. Payment terms may be available and applications from groups are welcomed. We need to sell these houses to raise revenue for future building projects. Please make your applications as soon as possible. Thank you.

I got no response until now.

I have to think, that the building project failed. I still see no inhabitant of the new flats. Noone asked me for furniture or for keys! So noone wants to life there?

Varshikar, if you do not find people for these flats i would search for myself. You have time to the end of autum. After it i close the flats and in spring i sell them via auction myself.

In recent days I have encountered 4 ogres, including a shaman, very close to town including near the road south of town.
Be vigilant wherever you go within the lands. Preferably do not travel alone and report any sightings to warn others. Thank you.

The VMA is now closed.
The VMA building is hereby given over to Varshikar to be used as the town Library.
The peninsular given over to the VMA reverts back to the control of Varshikar.

The 4 new houses still need to be sold. The sale is now opened up to anyone wishing to buy them.
The construction of the Harbour must be completed soon. Materials are still needed.

I hereby place Maggie Kemoc in temporary charge of the lands until her appointment is confirmed by yourselves or a new leader is elected as you see fit. Think carefully and choose wisely.

Finally I resign from the leadership of Varshikar with immediate effect.

My fellow Varshikari,

As there have been no objections to my taking the post of Leader of the town, I will assume there are none, and so I will take the full post instead of simply 'Acting Leader'.

Toward this end, I will also take a Deputy, one Gryphius Messerzunge. Congratulations again, Gryphius. I am sure our methods will complement each other well, to best serve the town.
As such, he has full rights to grant citizenship, as well as all rights required for the duties of the day-to-day business of running Varshikar. He also has the right to speak for Varshikar when required.
Everyone please give him your congratulations and your full support.

In time, I will also need to appoint a treasurer, but that will have to be someone who is very active, so that the funds and materials of the town are readily available.

First, I wish to express my gratitude to the
meritorious town leader Maggie Kemoc for
the honor she has bestowed on me. Hereby
I swear to fulfill my new task with reason
and heart henceforth, until I officially retreat
from the post, my lady discharges me from
my duty, or death takes me. Together, we
shall form a flourishing town out of the little
desert bloom, called Varshikar.

But I would not be capable to dedicate these
lines to you, if there hadn't been the valor of
a young man that saved me from suffering a
horrible fate within the grasp of a spider
monstrousity: It is an honor and a privilege
to declare Kevin Lightdot a hero of this
town.

His courage in slaying down the monster, at
the risk of his own life, is most exemplary, his
young age makes this even more remarkable.

Kevin Lightdot is to be treated with all due
respect.

I recently had the misfortune of being robbed,
right in the midst of the town, forfeiting no less
than three rings, two of considerable worth.

The robber to commit that crime bears highly
distinctive features: His left eye appears to be
a green emerald, being embedded right in his
eye socket, while his right eye is icy-blue like
a frozen lake. He referred to himself as "The
merchant", but in all likelihood, he will alter
his names just as frequently as the places he
visits.

Those who should cross his path should seek
company swifest possible, preferably armed
one. Until further note, that robber is hereby
ridded of all judical protection on the grounds
of Varshikar.

Further measures will be considered with the
town leader.
