I dont think "it being common" should mean that they shouldnt name it that! I mean, ive never even seen an elven village/home, so i dont really think its COMMON...

the name is too common. too many elven cities in other games are called eldamar. and the name is just plain. a little more creativity would be good ;)

Eldamar is the name of a country taken from Tolkien's tales.

Silverbrand is not called Moria and Greenbriar is not called Hobbiton, so maybe something way better can be found.
