I have devised a new plan for the concert hall, but unfortunately Inioch has it right now and I am not sure when I shall get it back.  Some of the specifications:

17 front row seats
15 second row seats
A mini tavern
And 140 bushes

The front row seats will cost 100 gold to reserve, that is pre-order before friday night.  It will be 200 gold to get a front row seat at the doors.  In the case of more than 17 people wanting a front row seat, we shall go to bidding, and the person who bids the highest amount of money will get the seat.

The second row seats shall be free, so anyone can walk in, no reservations necessary.

Just to give you a perspective on the concert hall, the front row seats are about three squares away from the performers, and the second row seats are 5-8 squares away.

I hope everyone can make it to the concert, it is promising to be a very memorable experience.

Note to performers: If you wish, you can dedicate your song(s) to a person or to a group of people.  This is not necessary, but it would add to the concert.  You would say a special note about this person just before performing.

@Cosmaterra:
I dont know if Inioch has talked to you, but the ideal time for setting up the concert hall (for us) would be about 11:00 GMT Friday night.  Sorry if it is a bit late for you, but it is the earliest we can arrive.  If you want to postpone it to Saturday morning, please let us know.

excuse me?
ok I want to know why GMs are creating a concert hall that will be most likely torn down afterwords?  for free? I think that everyone should have a say in a permenate music hall structure.

Ok, I cut it back to about 120...

In anycase, here's the picture.  Be warned, it is rather large.

Image

I have numbered off the seats so that people can choose which seat they want.  The charge for getting a specific seat in first row is an extra 25 gold.  Otherwise, you will just get one of the left over front row seats, and it's still 100 gold.

Second row seats are still free.  I hope to see people booking the front row seats, it would be a shame if they were all empty.... ;)

BTW: Cosmaterra gets a free front row seat since she helped out.

Hmmm... just one little question... How are the performers going to get to the stage? ;-)
I mean, are they going to need to be there before the hall is created and have the hall built around them? Or will Cosma teleport us in? Because I don't really see any entrances...
As for first row seats... I'd like to reserve one, let's say the 15, since it's still free ;o)
Can I pay you at the concert? I haven't ever met you in Illarion yet, so it might be hard to pey you otherwise?

Seat 15 is reserved for Cosmaterra, but you can have one of the other middle ones.

About us getting in:  Since we shall only have to enter once (at the beginning), we will have Cosmaterra let us in.  Then we stay in that area until the end.  It is sealed so that no undesirables get in.

I think we should postpone the concert until a later date due to the lack of people who know about it.  We need to give people more time to re-arrange their scedules so they can attend.  We also need to wait until we have more interest.  Nobody has reserved a seat, and it will be a complete waste of our time if only three people show up.  Since nobody is posting here about the concert (except for Lloyd of course), then I assume there is a lack of interest.

I dont think that 100 gold is very much for hours of entertainment.

@Lloyd:
You can sit in the free seats then.

Unfortunately, I doubt that we could put it off that long :)

As for the "nosebleed" section, the only thing that the performers could use to hit someone in the first row is themselves, and I certainly hope we dont have our performers going flying out of the area while singing....  So I think it is fairly safe.

But, We don't have a third row! you can keep up a second row reputation!
I hardly think the second row is the nosebleed row.

If the server is back up on time, I will take seat #8,  I will pay 200 gold for it, or a silver, to make sure I get it *grins*. I should be able to be there.

This is the funniest thing I have ever seen, a concert on an online rpg what and interesting idea. I am new so don't take heed of my ramblings.

If you have any help for me on getting started post them in the help topic I have posted.

Hello,
I would like to have a first row seat, and I am willing to pay everything to get there.
When I have enough time to go to Trolls Bane before the concert, I guess I will need more seats  because I had the idea of taking some nice friends with me.
(( I hope the sever will be on soon))
See you soon,

The date and time will be this:  June 8th at 8:00 GMT (Aslong as my time-zone knowledge is correct).

@Fulige:
We will have Guards at the doors of the first row seats while people come in, and they will be sealed afterwards.  We will have Fleariel Ellis there to help with this.  I dont think that security of that sort will be required.

number 8 to Cosmaterra/Franjel Salem Long/Fleariel Ellis (I don't think
I got anyone of those names right).

Nay, 15 was for Fleariel Ellis, since it is the grandest of all seats.

@Xaveria:
The concert date is not final.  It may be even on the 15 of June, who knows.  I hope you can come.

i just wonder how this concert is going to be performed technically - usually you hear music and the singers voice and all that - maybe some light effects too. so if you could explain to me how this is going to be like, you might win my interest.

ah yes - I´ve seen the construction of the concert hall and found it rather disturbing, since it is sort of an non-overseeable area - it had more the impression of a labyrinth than a hall - but then again... who am i to jugde? i´d suggest you used walls instead of bushes - similar to the ruins, where the mumies are located.

this posting is not meant to be insulting, for i honour work and time people invest to make other people comfortable. keep up the good spirits.

I do not like the bushes myself, but walls would block the view of the people in the seats behind them, therefore putting them out of the question.  I would like a fence type thing, but since there are no fence graphics, bushes will have to do.
