I personally, do not advice Troll's Bane permitting the orcs, or anyone else, to act as 'Protectors of Troll's Bane'.
Also, for the ones attempting, or thinking of joining the Guards, think twice.

The war between the Bloodskull clan and Silverbrand is over. All members of both parties are allowed to enter Troll's Bane again.
Zub'Gor is still wanted and is allowed to be killed on sight.
The Tavern gets it former status as Embassy of Silverbrand.

Captain Callith,

With all my respects, you could have at least had the decency to wait for me to return from Bane, before you went to rest. For you had the amulet the lich seeked. Me and Lograkh, the orc, went back into the bowels of the lich's lair, seeking it, but were no match to its minions, and going there without the jewel was too risky. If you cannot uphold, or do not care to uphold the safety of Troll's Bane, then hand us the amulet, and we will go alone. You can rest meanwhile. I fear that, because you went to rest with the amulet, the town might be invaded tomorrow by undead.

Thank you,
A man who tried saving Troll's Bane,

Michael,

I'd like to point out you two had to run away leaving me alone to fight a demons skeleton. We need more than just the three of us if we are going to go down there.

So perhaps you should think about that, without me neither of you would have lasted half as long as you did when that skeleton attacked us. So before you get high and mighty, perhaps you should learn to use that sword you swing around.

When that thing returns It'll get the amulet and that will be the end of it.

By the way, I have your things.

Thank you, for keeping my things.
Only the problem is the Lich will come back tomorrow with an array of undead skeletons to invade the town. I am not getting High and Mighty, I was simply offering my help, that if you had no time to bring the amulet back, I an that orc are willing to do it.

I have cleared up the obsolete, unpleasant trees from around the town. If you find one that should be removed, please contact me.

Shall I remind you, that you are not allowed to remove or plant tree's without an allowence first, which, as I recall, only Magnus holds, and myself, as I take care of his buisness.

Then the goveneur should beginn to ask the ones, who allready have the requiered rights to do so, instead of changing her will to her mood.

Why so much hassle, miss Pellandria, upon such a belittled matter as this one? If you wish to arrange Troll's Bane floral redecoration yourself, please feel free to. I was merely attempting to lend an aiding hand.

Pellandria,

It was me indeed who asked Michael Isman to get rid of some trees in Troll's Bane, since there have been too many in town for weeks.

I was not aware that Magnus Magnol has official permission to care for the trees, neither that you are his deputy. I regret this lack of information and hope that there is an opportunity to make your status official - if you two are willing to become official foresters of Troll's Bane.

Contact me in private if you are interested.

Thanks to Michael Isman for his efforts.

Sincerely,
~Siltaris~

A note is placed on every gate entrance to Trolls Bane which states: Please Keep Gates Closed
Aslo there is a note on the town board that reads as follows:

As many of you already know if not all, the Trolls were facing a problem with their habitat and the druids have offered their assistance in order to rid it. However, some trolls have still wondered away from their forrest and have migrated to the woods surrounding the arena in all directions. A group of people including Azuros and myself have approached these Trolls and they are completely docile, however, I do not know how they will respond if they are attacked it could disrupt the treaty made. So I urge all inhabitants of Gobaith not to attack these Trolls outside their forrest they have not harmed anyone. In fact we easily herded one away from the bridge. However, without the town guard, govenor, or the magistrate avialable to make a decision on what to do, I have written these notes on gates to ask people to keep them closed. I figured that no matter how docile the trolls might be it would not be a good idea to for them to roam our streets so please keep the gates closed until the guard, governor, or magistrate says otherwise.

With Zhambra's blessings,

Dear Citizen of Troll's Bane, dear folks of Gobiath,

Troll's Bane has an official forester.
It is the Citizen Eli Travinus who will care for the planting and cutting of trees.

The forster only (and his eventual deputy he will nominate) is allowed to cut and plant trees within the territory of Troll's Bane.

The forester will receive a payment of 10 silvers per dwarven month for his actions.
The forester has to hand half of all the wood at the end of a dwaven month to Troll's Bane's treasury. The other half is for the forester's free use.

Citizens of Troll's Bane, folks of Gobiath,

Due to the latest income from the taxes, Troll's Bane will pay all persons who hold official institutions in Troll's Bane a certain amount of money.
The payments will usually be given in the end of each dwarven month ((1 RL month)) for the previous dwarven month.
There will be dates proclaimed in advance, when the payment can be collected from the Governor.
The amount of money depends on the official institution the person holds.

Recruits of the Town Guard do not get any payment, but support in armor, weapons and they are trained by the Town Guards.

Protectors of Troll's Bane receive 10 Silvers per dwarven month.

Town Guards of Troll's Bane receive 20 Silvers per dwarven month.

The Town Guard Captain of Troll's Bane receives 30 Silvers per dwarven month.

The Magistrate of Troll's Bane receives 30 Silvers per dwarven month.

The Governor of Troll's Bane receives 30 Silvers per dwarven month.

The Forester receives 10 Silvers per dwarven month.

Other official instituions, which might be set up in future, may will receive a payment as well.

How very convenient that you get paid to make laws enforcing money into your own pocket.

What a great job you're doing.

~William Elderberry~

p.s. Can *I* also have 30 silvers a month for 'citizen interaction duties'. i.e. talking to and/or getting drunk with Dominic? We'd be doing the same amount of work how I see it.

Cooks, bakers and farmers of Gobiath,

Troll's Bane is willing to spend 15 Silvers for food.
Troll's Bane asks all interested people on Gobiath to make an offer what kind of food they will be able to offer for the amount of 15 Silvers.

Please write your offers down here.

After some time, Troll's Bane will then decide who has the best offer and will make the deal with this person/guild then.

Troll's Bane asks people to make serious offers only.

Thanks.

Now that the governor begins to receive money, the evilness in Trollsbane begins, for money causes problems.

Human nature, human greed, too powerful, too strong.

I can think it only right that the following men should volunteer their services as 'Protectors of Trollsbane'.

Sir Dantagon Marescot
Squire Gildon de Vymont
Squire Amroth Surion

The reason? I see nowhere on the Knighthood boards where it mentions these men should be paid for their work. Indeed, it seems to imply that they do it merely out of duty and not from greed. I would like to know where these men stand on this.

It is free for everyone to use the payment the way the persons want.
If the knighthood, for example, does not want to get paid for their efforts, they are free to use it for charitable purposes or to refuse any payment at all.

Fact is, the payment is just an offer - no one is forced to take it and no one is forced to take it for personal use. Should be self-explanatory, I guess.

However, Troll's Bane respects the efforts people do for the town and is willing to pay them for their honorable actions.

Why should we answer you when you are not able to read? But I still will do.

First...noone other then the etablished traders of Trollsbane pay taxes.

And about the "where does it go", have a look at the town papers. since there it is written down. I will copy it just for you who isn't brave enough to write his name under his messages.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Treasury

The Treasury of Troll’s Bane currently covers an amount of 308 Silvers and 95 Coppers.

5800 coppers

+ 4272 ---- 5th Bras 21 -- Taxes
+ 2430 ---- 8th Bras 21 -- Taxes
+ 12793 ---- 17th Bras 21 -- Taxes
