Well, with an offer like that, who could resist?
I'll pass. I just don't see those as 'equivalent' to the benefits the Knights recieve. Any craftsman worth his weight in Gold will already have tools and able to amass supplies far quicker than your knights could.
I'm sorry you haven't been paid yet, it may be time to seek back-pay from the Governor. I'm sure the Knights were listed as 'Protectors' with a pay of 20 silvers per dwarven month? I am sure Trollsbane has the money to pay you. They just hired the Mercenaries too ya'know.
Despite this, I do wish you well in your endeavors.
Respectfully,
~Dusty

Sir Dan-
I for one, since the my old trading company fell through, would be happy to offer my services to the knighthood. Many of its members are my friends, and I would be glad to help them out. Let me know if this is good with you.

The Knights of Gobaith is searching for craftsmen and women, druids/medco, and priests/priestesses who are interested in holding non-fighting roles within the knighthood. The order will sponsor these men and women.
Due to lack of money we can not pay on a monthly or a yearly basis, but we can help provide necessary tools, equipment, protection, and what is needed to survive and live comfortably. With these conditions, we ask that all services be free towards knighthood members. Money may be made outside the knighthood and used to what ever deemed fit. Being able to speak both versions of common is requested, but not required. A minimal understanding of the new language is.
Anyone who may be interested may leave a parchment here or send a dove to Dantagon Marescot. Please include who you are, what you do, and why you wish to help the knighthood. At the present we may only accept one or two for each job or craft.

-- Warrior of Bragon
If this doesn't make it clear as to how flexible we are, I don't know what is. I will add everyone who has said something to the list. We can work out details in person.

Jorokar, well armoured and armed, approaches the knighthood's board and pins the following note.
I am sorry to announce that I will be leaving the island of Gobaith for a while. I don't know for how long. I apologize for the lack of explanations, but the decision was sudden.
~ Jorokar Sladrir
Page of Gobaith.
With a soft sigh, he turns around and walks away, slowly, calmly, but determined.

I write here on the hopes of joining your order. I am but a man with no home and no family and wish to fight for a cause. Im unknown and untrained, but I have the arm and mind to become a knight that I feel would honor your order. Please, if you could but take some time to speak with me, I would be most apreciative.

To the writer above. It would be adviced for you to sign your name so I know who I am meeting with. That and I can not spare time to come to the tavern as I am quickly heading off to rest. Send me a dove and we can arrange for a time to meet.
Now for everyone else.
I will start with the sadder bit of news. Julius Rothman as been removed from the knighthood for his actions not only in Vashikar, but for his actions towards others since he has joined. Hopefully one day he will straighten up and perhaps be given another chance.
To a much happier note. We have added crafters and other followers who are here to help the knighthood and for the knighthood to help. It is asked that all members do their best to help them when it is needed and be respectful towards them. They are one of our family now and are to be treated as such. Althought listed on our main parchment, they will be mentioned here:
Fianna Heneghan -- Cook/Carpenter
Lonsúr -- Priest (Zhambra)
Magnus -- Farmer
Annouka -- Herbalist, Cook, Tailor
Ogerawa Kyoichiro -- Crafter
Thomas Greenbottom – Crafter
Krall – Miner/Smith
Next, we have a promotion to annouce. Braydar Wolfstar has been promoted to page. I wish him luck in this new endevor.

Seeing as all has gone rather quiet, though many are still around, I would like to hear from all squires and lower, and crafters. This is just a simple check to see who is still with us and if anyone may be in need of some help, supplies, or training. I will then go through and make a list of who has replied, and then a seperate list of the missing.

It seems that not many have replied to my request for letting me know that they are still around. I will give those who have not sent me a dove or have not met me in person (though I have been rather busy lately) to reply to my call. I will then create a list of those who are around, and those that are seemingly unable to do something as simple as send me a dove or are not on the isle.

I have updated our list of people after a long absence by myself. If any of you feel that you should still be a part of this list, and yet have not been responcible enough to have not sent me a dove, written upon this list, or met with me in person then do it now to reclaim your possition. If I hear any complaints about being removed, being that I am trying to be fair and have given ample time and will re-add people if asked, then do not expect to be re-added as you will be both disrespecting the knighthood and myself.
Second, on the topic of Trolls Bane. We are the Knights of Gobaith for a reason. We are here to uphold truth, justice, and do what is right for the people. In this, I do not expect all of us to agree or wish to fight for the same things. We are individual entities and yet we are a collective. You do not have to follow me on this. Make your own choices. But in the end... Remember that we are all living here and must somehow get along. So even if you don't agree, we can still work together to make this a peaceful place.
And without further adu, I wish to welcome our newest page apprentice to our ranks. Frederick D'Aubigne is the newest member of our knighthood and will hopefully soon swear the oath and reach the ranking of page.

The man Dain Aldous has been added as a page apprentice. May he be welcomed with open arms and be a grand addition to the knighthood.
There has also been a change in procedure with the page apprentices. Now if one has been around constantly and has proved that they are good at heart after one dwarven month, they may swear the oath as a page. This has been implimented because I fear that the long wait period between page apprentice and page has discuraged many from joining or from staying in the first place. Anyone who does not meet the requirements to become a page will be removed from the page apprentice list, but will have the right to reapply at a later date or continue page apprentice ship.

Two great achievements have been done today.
First, Ayla To'lorn has become the next knight of Gobaith. I wish her much glory in her years to come. She now also holds authority over the knighthood.
Second, Dame Ayla To'lorn and I have agreed that a new squire is needed. Therefore Jorokar Sladrir has been made a squire in our order.
Both Dame To'lorn and myself eagerly await the next pages to swear the oath and further seek the advancement of the knighthood, the towns, and expecially Gobaith.

For those of you who care to know, there has been a change in the
Knighthood's symbol. It is nothing drastic, but it has been decided between
Dantagon and I that the simple metallic colours could use a change. Enjoy!

of our apprentices has shed such a title and shall begin his training as a full
Page as soon as possible. Welcome Dain Aldous into the Page's ranks.
May he uphold his oath with honour.

A note is scribbled hastly below.
Ayla,
I believe the wait period may be to long. Might two dwarven weeks be better for everyone?

I ask that Scott Mcleod send me a dove if he is still around.
Also I require all members of the knighthood come to Varshikar as soon as possible. Your ability with the sword will be required to stop, not kill, an elf that we must remain wary of.
