Mayor Bottoms leave Greenbriar immediately. Gort is waiting to attack you. I confronted him and two of his bandit friends this day and they are out of your blood. I do not know why but they said they wanted to smash you, please evacuate while I try to cut apart these creatures.
Truly yours,
Phillippe Charboneau, Paladin of Elara

Karl Salameh is hereby banned for 2 weeks for actions involving provocation of County Citizens and failure to leave as requested when lives were in jeopardy.
According to County Law, crimes are judged by the laws of the city nearest the incident. In this case, the Hamlet of Greenbriar has jurisdiction. I have deemed it necessary to ban him for 2 weeks.
Any other incidents of provocation, attack or crimes upon any of our County's citizens should be reported at once to the nearest authority, myself, Lord Cawdor or Lord Nalzaxx.
Thank you,

Sir Avalyon el'Hattarr receives my vote. He is a fine member of Caelum's government and even when it would not benefit him he has often opposed views with good reason. I feel that he'd be an excellent voice of the people; he says what he feels must be said, not what he knows you want to hear. I believe that any of the other candidates would do a good job, I simply feel that Avalyon has the strongest political mind and a fairness to what he says. He is also very active around the isle.
Sir Cawdor,
Lord of Caelum

I agree. Avalyon is a great asset to Caelum and his work and thoughts have been very appreciated. It would be a pleasure to see our head of senate on the council.

Neela Rabenfeder recieved 4 votes and came very close.
We appreciate everyone's participation in this election and welcome Sir Avalyon el'Hatarr to his new position.
As the fourth Councilman, he represents you, the common citizen. Thank You,

7th Hour: Social Hour & Farmer’s Market – On Main Street

Harvest Feast - After the final events are over....meet in the Tavern for a final feast. Food will be given away to the audience, taken and eaten by those who need it. If you need food, come! If you have food, come! Eat drink and be merry!
From ancient texts:
“A very common festive day, which is celebrated by each race with great earnest and religious devotion. The priests of Oldra determine the specific day in the month of Olos, which according to their perception is favored by the grace of the goddess. Even though some may say that another predicting factor are the weather conditions and thus the end of harvest.
Naturally there are local characteristics in the design of the festivities, but in general they are accompanied by processions, religious prayers and sacrificial offerings, which accumulate in the evening into a mostly frolic feast. Especially in poor areas this festival is craved for with great expectancy as it is one of the few days of the year where there is food in abundance.”
May we reap a bountiful Harvest!

We'd like to welcome Auric Stoneface to the Hamlet as a new citizen. He is a newcomer to Gobiath and found a passion for farming. May he reap many harvests and friends! Welcome.
The Hamlet of Greenbriar has rescheduled it's house auction with the County Faire. It has been suggested, that due to the many 'visitors' we recieve as well as our 'poorer' citizens, we should not auction the 'Central House' ((Next to the Depots)), but keep it as a 'Town Hall' and available openly to any who need to spend the night in safe lodgings for free.
The other houses and the Tavern will go to other local citizens and we will try to get new locks for them.
((They are RP'd as locked already, but it would be nice to provide real locks anyway, because many don't realize they are supposed to be locked.))
In Service,
~Dusty Bottoms, Mayor~

Since I heard that such an event might been taking place a while back, I've been gathering various things to donate. I hope they can be used in some way. I don't mind how, just so long as they're shared, or won fairly. Perhaps if others would add more seeds to this, one or two more Harvest Lottery prizes could be made? I hope these contributions are of some use.
180 Apples
13 Bananas
60 Cabbages
100 Carrots
120 Cherries
100 Grapes
50 Ham
50 Onions
70 Salmon
150 Tangerines (20 of those given by Maggie Kemoc of Varshikar)
145 Tomatoes
170 Trout
40 Cabbage Seeds
40 Carrots Seeds
40 Onion Seeds
40 Tomato Seeds

Thats wonderful Cawdor. Yes, we could add them as a Lottery prize, as well as donate some to the poor. How about a 'communal feast' afterwards in which anyone can donate food, and anyone can eat it. That way, if anyone is unable to feed themselves, farm or cook, they can come and be filled. We could meet in the Tavern. talk drink, eat and be merry!

We would like to announce that Bogan Bjolfson has tendered his resignation. He left for personal reasons, and has done a magnificent job protecting the Hamlet. He will still be around to help if we need him.
Stepping up to the position as Sheriff is Auric Stoneface, a new citizen and warrior. He is committed to Greenbriar and to protecting the citizens. As his first act, he has already recruited Mark Armstrong as his Deputy. Mark has been a longtime and trusted friend of Greenbriar and will also do his best to protect and serve. Welcome!

Thanks Ska'alib,
yes, I think it would be appropriate to display 'Harvest' of the sea as well during the farmer's market. We are a coastal village after all. Thank you for participating. Be sure to show your best fish!

I can donate 10 onion seeds and 10 tomatoe seeds. I can also donate about 600 to 750 honeycombs that I "harvested".((Notice the key word? *winks*)) They can be used for cooking. Cakes and pies.
--RICHARD MARTINS--
P.S. I can donate more honeycombs regularly until the day of the event. I think you should enlist some bakers Dusty and make plenty of cakes and pies with these. It will be appreciated if anyone can donate grain to the bakers for the cakes and pies. Thanks a lot.

Avalyon, I have 40 bottles for you, whenever we meet.
Richard, thank you for donating, but the idea is to get local farmers and bakers to make and display their goods, so ask around to see if anyone can use those honeycombs. I know Annouka is an excellent cook.
Thanks,
~Dusty~
