I had the impression, that you had a story behind being a skeleton. I had nothing to do with that alteration. And wasn't Retlak an orc anyway, not a human?

I was only messing about with that post, sorry.

Retlak is meant to be a Skeleton, a dead Orc.

Now we must act cordially? What next, only certain sentences should be allowed?

Yes, yes it is a sad day when people make a fuss over unexpected interactions. Let us make the game much more predictable, let us make it so we can manipulate the game into making an outcome that we want.
Every roleplay that destroyes the fun of other players is considered bad roleplay and should be handled by a gm. so it was in earlier days of illarion!
Everyone has bad roleplay then, because in essence you will automatically ruin someones experience if you log in.

If you can't find oppurtunity in every instance, it might be you who is at a loss.

They may have ruined your first oppurtunity, but they were ingame...they opened a new one.

You have not the slightest clue what happened. or how it was. so i would say you better dont write stuff that is nonsense compared to the topic.

Fact is, they destroyed the fun of everyone other in the tavern! It is not just me, it are around 10 players whose fun they destroyed and who they really annoyed ooc too, because they ruined everything.

Again: Their roleplay and ingame behaviour destroyed the roleplay fun of a dozen players and a long planed player event behind which was alot of work and heart from others!

As long as something happened, I dont need to know much further.

They annoyed with OOC, or they annoyed players and not the characters?

If they used OOC to annoy, I would say that is bad, but if they just made the players annoyed, then it is the players who got annoyed's fault.

Things don't always go my way ingame, it doesn't ruin my fun.

That isn't their fault. Players who can't adapt to actions cannot be blamed on those who do the action.

The scheduled time of the event was NOT the fault of any players.

Tip: Don't change people's races when there's another event on.

Edit: How can you be shocked? You already know what the community is like.

Iam really shocked by that ashole behaviour of all that player who doesnt care a bit that they destroyed the roleplay fun of others. who just care for their own roleplay. there was once a time in illarion when players who destroyed other players gamefun with their roleplay got a meeting with a gm who slapped their fingers.

honestly, that were times when illarion was from the vierw of roleplay and ingam atmosphere much better.

Well, I suppose a lot of people should be having a GM talk as well. Its not destroyed fun, its fun merely channeled into another event.

But, it was RP, we was having fu with our RP, you hosting your little opening thingy, was ruining our RP, as we wanted to go to the teavern, so we ruined yours, you see.

it WAS destroying gamefun. it WAS destroying the whole event. point. you were not there, you have not the slightest clue. you dont know what happened, and how it was...so i suggest, shut up!

jon, someone told you earlier to think before you write...i advice you the same. see, the festival got announced BY THE OWNER OF THE TAVERN!!!

it is damn unimportant what a bunch of orcs want with a tavern that dont belongs to them!

And you just proofed another asshole side on you. since you wrote there that you destroyed our gamefun because the tavern was not free for your orc meeting. that alone should give you a punishment

As I said, it doesn't matter as long as no rules were broken. It COULD have been fun, but you wanted things to work a certain way. Since they did not, you are angry.

I didnt even found it fun, I acted like my character, whatever if it may destroy the fun of 1500 players, I will act like my character.

Edit : Cause its a roleplaying game, and I dont use an ooc reason to change my character.

For that comment you should be banned from the game. Really

Can you stop having a period over it? Seriously.... You was ruining our fun by making us pay to enter the tavern....So we ruined yours.

Why should he be banned? ooc should not affect chars ig.

Because he doesnt care a bit for the playfun of every other player as long as he has his char and can play it like he wishes? everyone who doesnt care if ither players have fun at the game aslong as he has fun and can do his game should not be welcome in illarion. because that is not about what illarion is

You was ruining our fun by making us pay to enter the tavern....So we ruined yours.
Another comment for which you should get a week ban or so. That sounds like you thouhgt ooc "oh, i cant attend because i wont pay. i will take now a char from me and destroy their fun because of it"

Illarion is about fun, but when you can't find fun in any action of another character, then it might not work out.

Finding a character's actions boring/interruptive doesn't mean they cannot roleplay or should be banned.

Let me re-phrase

We was having fun, a joly good day, and wanted a drink. We walked to the TAvern, dancing in the snow. We walked through the door and had the horror of the words "5 coins admittance". We thought this ruined our RP, so we went away, pissed off. Then we thought "Hey, they are ruining our RP, lets do it to them". So we did.

You cannot destroy a few players rp just because of some event which did not need to have people paying to enter.

Posted: Sun Jul 02, 2006 11:20 pm
by Dónal Mason
No Shandariel, that is not a comment for which he should be banned. Perhaps the CHARACTER was pissed at being forced to pay to enter a local tavern, and decided to have his fun another way.
