Interesting, but this is my question:
Has anyone noticed this: "New, uber better then regular sever" crashes like 10x more then the old one?
And the server stays offline longer?

um, Galim said that in harsher words on off-topic board.

Well, that is the price you pay for a big update. There was no testing involved, or only slight testing, before it was put into works. So, live with it. It is slowly getting fixed apparently, because the downtime is dropping.

Has any body noticed the 10 new armors multiple weapons, new items and skills ????
Has any body noticed the vastly improved script that can be altered nearly on the fly. Have people noticed an improved faster skill gain system actually moderated by a skill capp that means we no longer have people mastering over night.
Have people noticed that we dont pay anything to use this service
At base has any one actually noticed we are for all intents that we are lucky to have a game provided for us that has spawned this great community

Why don't they make another trusted person in the vicinity of our timezones an Admin or whatever so they can reboot the server once this happens ...

Server is in austria. I think you have to restart it manually.

Yep. You need someone with direct access to the Server IP adress and is CLEARED to work/restart i believe

Heh, not like other games. Where the server runs (invisibly) on the host computer.

The server wont be restarted until it has been checked to see why it was crashed. The new client still has a lot of bugs which need to be found, some of which crash the server. If it was simply restarted the bug would still be there and it would crash again.
As that man Brian said be thankful there is a game here to play and it is free!

If some of you desperates are willing enough to pay for my instantaneous round trip plane ticket to Austria, your own plane tickets to fly here and complete the mountains of work I would be leaving behind, book an Austrian hotel for me if needed, pay for any other living expenses for the next seven years, buy, steal, and/or bribe me a key to the room in the university where the server is located, gain for me enough trust from the server GMs, hand me the technical knowledge needed to reboot the server itself, and pay me a weekly tribute of sacrificed souls to appease me and assure me of your continual praise...
...why then yes. I would be happy to start the server back up for all of you.

Har, it's changed now anyway. I find most people who add me or I add speak to me a little but get bored of me, hehe. It's not my fault!
