Erm, I think a german/European person insert language here, would pronounce Irania differently. Especially the way you showed your pronounciation.

You are from the Netherlands? I must say, I have never ever heared anyone pronounce it like that, not even "in Nederland". Als ik dat toch wel even mag zeggen.

When I'm lazy, I pronounce Zhauvalea (the easiest way):

Zuh-voll-ee-ae

but it really doesn't take into credit the delicacy of the name and it's very pretty to pronounce properly. It's more like

Zhauh-vaul-lee-ae but not quite.
