I gave a few suggestions, but I'm unsure how many were used.

So far, I'm liking it. Combat is and should be a difficult thing, so hopefully, this will discourage the whole world of Illarion consisting of fighters like it has been recently.

Seriously. It seems like everybody, no matter what occupation, could fight well.

The fighting system wasn't touched. This will be one of the next steps.

Will it be possible to use these new graphics for the forum? I am using the default dwarf graphic for this forum, but it has changed. Will the current graphics for the game eventually be available for use on the forum?

The human females look like men. The getting mentally and physically exhausted thing from swatting at flies is not cool. The not learning anything after killing flies for a while is equally not cool... The graphics are pretty decent. My favorites are the windows, doorways and pine trees. I also like how the grass looks dead.

In a nutshell, at least there will definitely be no more powergamers, and hopefully nobody who expects to improve their skills (at least the combat ones).

I noticed the new Priest and Bard skills, will there will be quests to teach us to use these, or is this a way of separating how good you are at certain spells or playing instruments?

The thing is:
IRL, human females ARE men, they differ only in minor details, which are mostly hidden by textiles or similar things.
There might be some curves that may shine through these textiles, especially in the upper part of the human body, but also in it's middle. When looking at the Illarion-graphics in particular, you can see these areas easily, you just have to know where to look.

If you're interested in, I can hold some lectures on human anatomy.

Oh, I'm sorry, the female humans look likes male humans. Is that better? In real life, no they are not men, nor do they look like men (I'm sure there are a few exceptions). The little curves do make a big difference, and in real life textiles make no difference. I don't know what kind of anatomy classes you've taken, or what kind of females you've encountered, but hold off on the lectures and fix what you just said because I hope it just came out wrong and that there is a bigger difference between men and women than it sounds like you think.

Jaws are different, for starters.

Avatars

It's a bit hard to tell what the jaws of the avatars look like though. I do think the humans are hard to tell apart... maybe we ought to have the women dress skimpier like they used to, that always worked for tell them apart. But then again I don't really mind what the avatars look like now, they look great to me.

think it's just the fact that there attire is so similar in this case. and the longer hair is sometimes hard to notice (i've said a few hello sirs to female characters  ) but asides from that i think i'll manage once i get used to it all

I did like the old avatar better, even though the women were more scantily clad. Perhaps the change was positive if some real life woman was offended. But anyways, I was just making an opinion.

your not going to notice a female jaw, from that distance.

So!? :D

Anyhow, I don't have any problems telling the difference. And pesonally, I didn't like the metal bikinis and amazing winged helmet...

the old female looked like she had large pointy boobs on her head. IMHO. No offense.

Yes

I love the fact that random items are dropped when someone is killed as this adds a whole new level to the game. Firstly now people can play proper bandits as they can kill people just for their items etc.... Secondly it means that items can be obtained back from a thief in another way if they refuse to roleplay along.

I would prefer it even more if people could be knocked unconcious and the whole body was available to loot, but i know this has been proposed before and some problems would arise from the implementation.

yes, it's good alright.....Tell that to those of us who have now lost an entire suit or metal armour. But seriously, it is a good ad-in.

Add that to a coincidential event of being poisoned by a monster before the file replacement situation was announced to reveal the antidote, mirrored at the time with having all your "healing potions" suddenly rendered useless, along with no strong healing potions in possesion, with the unfortunate siphoning of your last little molecule of health away by poison, and happening to be walking behind a building at that last moment, and the result is the lost of several invaluable items never to be recovered again, and one hell of a run on sentence.
That was my unfortunate demise in my brief visit back in the game.

Funny thing about that.

kills just to obtain items should be punished harsh, and i don't mean IG.

I think if the bandit gives the player a chance to hand over money or something to prevent them from being killed then it's okay, as long as everyone does it right. Bandits will definately have to operate at least 2 or 3 screens lenght out of the town walls, IMO.
