I think it was Martin's superbly proffesional graph (pg1) that fooled them all.

In that case, I'd like to apologize for killing several dwarves (5****), I thought there would be a character swipe, so I went on a small rampage ingame.

Again, sorry to those dwarves who were killed at the tavern.

Also, I thought that graph looked a little...funny.

Still, very clever APRIL FOOLS joke. (I especially loved the part where SOMEBODY changed "April Fools" in my recent post to "accountsystem," but it was pretty obvious my mom wouldn't pull an accountsystem on me. )

Ich habe noch keinen bug erlebt der nicht innerhalb von drei viertagen irgendeienm ehrlichen spierler aufgeffallen ist un gemeldet worden wäre, und gerade so ein bug hätte sich wie ein laubfeuer verbreitet.

Unsere Lieben GMs sind vollkommen aus und überlastet, einen solcher Mehraufwand und dass dann bei allen spielern würde bedeuten, nix geht mehr.

Das würde bedeuten das in ganz illarion vor dem Bug keine 10.000 Goldbaren exestierten. Gehen wir pauschal davon aus das nur jeder sechste angemeldete char nur einen Goldbaren besitzt währen dass alleien Schon zehtausend Baren. Dazukommen dann Extremfälle von alten Chars die mehrer hundert, teilweise über Tausend besitzen. Dazugezählt die gildenkassen der älteren und größeren gilden die allesamtt auch nocheinmal mehrere Tausend Baren ausmachen sollte jedem klar sein das diese Statistik nur ein verwirrendes Fake ist .

Da der Server sehr genaue backups amcht hätte man einfach die Datein von vor dem Bug Laden können, dann hätte jeder nur ein paar items und skills verloren. Wobei ich mich mit dem Techischen nicht so sehr auskenne.

Zudem Kommen dinge, wie dass bis gestern bzw inzwischen schon vorgestern jeder gms mit seinen chars genauso spielte wie eh und jeh, das gleiche gillt für map-bauarbeiten und quest und eine charwipeentscheidung wird nciht von heute auf morgen gefällt.

When I read this threead I knew exactly what it was. ((Thanks to Warcraft and other games that have pulled pranks like this or worse.))
