For new pathways we need copper and bricks.
Requirements for the new buildings are not fixed as yet. But donations of any basic resources will be useful. If not for the building work directly, then for our crafters to make items which may be required.

I can produce a huge ammount of nails, boards of any wood type, tools and other stuff. And if I had more money than I currently have, I would gladly donate more to Varshikar, but I barely have for myself, sadly.

Alica,
More than copper will be needed for the construction in the coming weeks. As soon as I hear back from the builders with requirements I will post a list. Anything anyone can help with will be a blessing. Even if it comes down to just acting as runners for miners who are gathering needed resources all help will be a boon for our projects. All help will build our home.

Thank you to everyone for their donations and continued support. You make me proud to be Varshikari.
Even some non-Varshikari have made donations and offered support. For this all Varshikari thank you.

I'm currently wokring on another shipment of iron ingots for mister Salathe. To be exact, more or less a thousand of them. When I get this for him, he will give me the exact ammount of 85 silver coins, and I've descided to give 80 of them to Varshikar for whatever you could need to use them for.

I would like to become a citezen of varshikar. I would like to become a citezen because I would like to escape the noisy and clustered enviroment of trolls bane and live in your precious flower that is Varshikar I have found that it is the most peaceful and beautyful place in all of gobiath. My second reason for wanting to becom a citezen of varshicar is to start my studies in magic and if I become a citezen I will post a letter asking if I could join the Varshicar Magery Academy.

Peter,
Your persistence is admirable. I hope you can bring the same level of commitment to helping the lands and people of Varshikar. Your name will be added to the citizens list. I will consider your membership of the academy after we have had a chance to meet in person.
Welcome to Varshikar. Do not fail your fellow Varshikari.

This man, Peter, is a suspect in a trial which is set for tomorrow. We hope this citizen shows up, or else he will be considered a fugitive. Please, think this over with this information.

agreed. not only is he on trail but his behavior is very questionable. at this moment dispite our leaders decision, Varshikar will not consider Peter as one of our citizens, i fear the good king Jeremy does not have enough time to devote to knowing of every detail of each city. whatever the desicion after the trial so be it

Thank you Athian. It will be added.

Valinis,
You should meet with either myself or Athian to discuss your application for citizenship. After this has been agreed we can then discuss your wishes to learn magic. Parentage does not make a mage. We will see if you are suitable at a later time.

There is a change of plans. I'm going to buy something from someone that will cost alot of money. 50 silver to be exact. Also the coal that is needed for Salathe's order will cost alot, so in the end I will only have 20 silver over, of wich 15 I'm giving to Varshikar. I hope it's enough though, I will see if I can get even more than that, but I'm not sure.

Time will tell

Saressa reads through the written works with intrest of what she has missed, with wide eyes she reads Jeremy's position and says quietly "Not a better person on this isle" she nods agreeing with herself then turning on her heel she walks away from her home planning on taking in the sights of an island she once knew like the back of her hand.

Today Varshikar mourns the departure of one of its favourite daughters. And I mourn the leaving of a very good friend.
Marie has left the Island for personal reasons.
Remember her with kindness and love.

To Whom it may concern,

I wish to apply for a license to trade in Varshikar as an "Authorized Trader of Lumber, Foods and Carpentries". I am a member of the Carpenters of Gobiath Guild and will therefore guarantee quality and fair prices.

I would also like to apply for training as a glassblower with the right to use Varshikari resources and sell Glass products in Varshakari's name here in Greenbriar and or Trollsbane. A small commission (10%?) would be paid to Varshikar's Treasury for this priviledge.

I would also like to be included in your lists as a "Friend of Varshikar" as I believe Varshikar and Greenbriar have much in common. And I consider Mr. Jeremy Willowbrook to be a personal friend of mine.

I appreciate your consideration and swift response. Thank you.

Signed,
~Dusty Bottoms of Greenbriar~

I regret to announce that i'm leaving Gobaith. I have recieved word that i'm needed in my homeland, and will most likely not be returning. Of the wealth i've accquired during my time here, I will take what I need and donate the rest to Varshikar and her treasury.

I wish you all well,

Eleanor,
We will be very sorry to see you go. We all hope things in your homeland are okay and maybe one day you will return. There will always be a place for you in Varshikar. Your donation to the Treasury is extremely generous and will be received with thanks.

Dusty,
Please see below for the information you requested.

The following has been added to the Varshikar Mandate.

Trade Licenses.

In future all non-citizens wishing to trade on Varshikari lands must have a license to do so. Trade in this case is defined as selling of any goods whether they are manufactured by the seller or by a third party.
The cost of a license will be 500 coppers.
A license will cover one type of manufactured goods. People wishing to sell multiple types of goods will need a license for each type.
Any complaint against a seller will be investigated by a Master craftsman appointed to the task. Complaints which are upheld will result in the loss of the license.

Manufacturing Licenses

For 1000 coppers a craftsman can purchase a license to produce one type of crafted goods. A separate License is required for each type of goods.
The manufacturer will have to make sample goods for inspection prior to a license being given so that quality can be checked.
The license allows the manufacturer to add the Varshikar crest to the items. Marking them as products quality approved by Varshikar.
Complaints against a manufacturer will be investigated by an appointed Master Craftsman. Any upheld complaints will result in the loss of the license.

To whom it may concern,

I appreciate your swift response in consideration of my request.

I request the honor of purchasing your first Manufacturer's License by a non-citizen in Glass Manufacturing for 1000 coppers. I believe the Varshikar seal of quality will soon become a well-respected product.

In addition, I request two Trade Licenses,
One - To trade Wooden Wares
Two - To trade Tailored Wares
For a total of 1000 coppers.
More may be requested later.

That makes a total owed to the treasury of Varshikar 2000 coppers.
To whom shall I render payment?

I shall be visiting in Varshikar in a few days ((Sunday, 4pm GMT)) and will be available to make payment.

I have faith that Varshikar will realize it's potential and am therefore willing to invest in it's future, both as a merchant and as a friend. I hope we will mutually benefit each other and perhaps even strengthen ties between Greenbriar and Varshikar, sister cities separated by a continent.

Respectfully,
~Dusty Bottoms of Greenbriar~
