This may sound stupid but... I can seem to find a way to make iron ingots, I light the furnace, I say use furncae infront of it with the iron ore, doesn't work, I use the iron ore with the furnace, doesn't work, I use the furnace with the iron ore, doesn't work. Anyone... Help?

You need a set of smelting tools to smelt iron.

Nail board in belt (purchasable from lizard near inn, a smith, or a carpenter), 5 sibanac leaves in your hand, look at nearest spinning wheel and use it.

and I heard that after a while, goldsmithing wimpy items doesn't give you experience. is there any way to tell if I'm getting experience or not? coal is very hard to get now and it takes alot to practice, and the item I'm practicing can't be sold, so I'm curious as to if I'm wasting my time or not.

Bricks are sold by an NPC at the harbor.

You cant get runes, most mages arent active to teach, or they "already have enought students", which probably are ooc friends, so chill.

Yes. It is to teach the basics of the language in the same way that the elf would teach his students.

Healing potions, Mana Potions and Food Potions are IG secrets and as such should be found out IG. Atleast the ingredients are.

Technically, all you have to do is use a mortar and pestle in your hands, with a bucket of water in your belt and the correct ingredients, if you are high enough skill they should appear on the pop up menu. Though, be warned, it will likely take you a LONG while before this happens.

How do I weave wool into cloth? O.o It says take a ball of wool in your hands, I do that, and it keeps saying that.

Oh yeah, thats a pretty annoying bug.
As long as you have only one ball of wool in your hand it won't work.
Take all your wool into the hand and it will work, of course at the end you will be left with a lonesome ball of wool that does not want to be turned into fine cloth.

Folgendes Problem ...

Ich hatte einen Schild, braun mit metallischem Rand. Leider weiß ich nicht mehr die genaue Bezeichnung (Turmschild, Sturmschild, salkamerianisch ??? ).
Es ist zerbrochen.
Wo bekomme ich solch ein Schild her ??
Habe zwei andere Schilde ausprobiert und muß sagen dass ich damit doppelt soviele Treffer bekomme.

und 2.) wie pariere ich richtig ? Gibt es Worte oder Bezeichnungen dafür wie es gemacht werden muß ? Kann ich da überhaupt etwas selbst beeinflussen ?

I had a shield, brown with a metallic edge. Unfortunately, I do not know the exact name (tower shield, storm shield, salkamerianisch ?? ) any more?
It has broken.

Where do I get such a shield here?
I have two other shields tries out and must say that get resoles so many mor hits with the others.

and 2.) obbey I correctly as? Are there words or must be made to expressions for this like it? Can I influence something at all myself there?

Das Schild war ein salkamaerisches Turmschild und ist das am schwersten herzustellende Schild. Du kannst es bei jedem guten Tischler kaufen.

Und nein. Parrieren geschieht komplett automatisch. Du kannst nur deine chance zu parrieren durch gute items verändern

Was wären z.B. gute Items -- nur ein gutes Schild oder auch die Rüstung Waffe etc ????

wow it seems like a few questions have gone unanswered (I could be wrong) so heres a few quick answers. Sword handles can be made, they are one of the ''moderatly'' difficult skills for a carpenter. I can make some find me IG. smelting tools are crucible, pinchers, mold. i can make crucible and mold. Find me IG. The cariving tools are the only carving tools you can use to start with untill you gain the skills to use other tools the other tools are what you need to make shield and bows(once you have enough skill.) thread can be make with entrails.

If you cant do these things on your own find me IG. I'm happy to help

The chance to plant trees is dependant on your peasantry skill, and from the location you try it.
If you get a message that the area you try is not looking good (too little light, I think), then you wont be able to plant something there. Try it somewhere else.

I suggest working on your peasantry skill first, like getting honey from beehives or planting crops. It's easier to plant trees then.
