drag, you're not getting votes because you don't even know what roleplaying is. You name is uncapitalized and not and rpg name, you use abbreviation and slang in your sentences like "u" and "r" and "ne1", you don't spell correctly, you cast ice fields on your grain claiming to 'protect' them, and because your "seen every creatur, died to the spiders and demon, have gotten all teh magic books" doesn't show anything about roleplay. You don't even know what roleplaying means.

@ drag
It would be better, because me - like other germans or form other countries - may understand you better.
The better the english is you write/spreach the better others could underständ you - but if you are not intrested - speak you slang ab be with persons they do.
But I like to talk to others and sorry - I dont know this slang words - I´ve never bin to the states.
And an other thing is - we are in the middleage - and I dont think they spoke this way.
Maybe an english like Shakespear but no slang.
Sorry my opinion

To quote Drag: "thx mishrack, u ahve my vote, n all u other dwarves also have a vote from me "
No body speaks like that. That is simply lazy typing. Instead of spelling out "Thanks", he writes "thx" which could be prounced as a synonym for Thanks.
Has nothing to do with slang, just lazyness.

...........,i dont know what to say, both parties have a really good..um........thingy. I forgot what its called. PPOINT! Both parties have a really good point. The People Vs. Drag. In The peoples case.....the good point is that you really do have to spell to RP. And,yes,Misharak, you do have to spell to graduate High School. Now,in Drags Defence (he made me),speech isn't that important (but i really think it is,and Drag, freedom of speech, bro, sorry). Well, thats about it. If I were a judge......the people would win, sorry Drag. A good RPer always spells correctly, and atleast has a capitolized name! Jeez. Well, thats it for my part, and for the best Rper,I chose Erdrick. BYE!

That is precisely the problem for you. To you, it's a game (which is fine). But to your character, it is still just a game. You always think of how to 'win' and 'beat the system'. Just like your lighting the grain on fire. Does it help you to play the 'game'? Maybe, but it is just plain dumb for roleplaying. About getting every rune, just like maxing every skill, it doesn't make you a good roleplayer. Getting all the runes quickly and powergaming your skills is anti-roleplaying. About exploring the whole map, unless you play the role of a cartographer or an explorer, that is an irrelevant point. Your name for example, you think it is a good name because it is short for dragon, and you say "think you morons". Why don't you think for once?! Drag is no roleplaying name, and neither is dragon! Do you think someone might call themself "cow" or "bat"? The same thing applies to dragon. If you're wondering why you don't get any votes here, this is the reason.
PS, if you are too lazy to type "are" instead of just "r", then you need to re-consider using a computer at all. I don't see how being bad at typing has anything to do with abbreviating every word possible, I think it has more to do with not being able to spell the words properly in the first place.

Do you seriously need to abbreviate three letter words? Is time of the essence? Names of species are not commonly names of people. How many times have you come across people named cat, donkey, or zebra? Also, adding lots of exclamation marks isn't going to impress anyone. We could tolerate you earlier, but wondering why no one called you best roleplayer?
[edit: Seems as if Astral beat me too the animal part... I decided to omit some of my nastier comments...]

I don't want to waste my time on you so I"ll just summarize a few points:
-You think you roleplay a lot? You don't even know what it means. If you think you do, then write down your definition of it and see what everyone thinks.
-drag or dragon are both not proper roleplaying names, quote moron. Another indication that you don't know what roleplaying is.
-Illarion is just a game, and games have their rules. Roleplaying games have their rules too. Do you bring a basketball to a hockey ring a complain "It's just game! That's all it is! You take it too seriously! I'm not going to stop using my basketball just for a hockey game!"
-I said you used slang AND abbreviations, quote idiot.
-At quote "leave me alone you critics. What did I ever do to you?" I'll tell you what you did, you're making a mess of our game with your non-roleplaying language. If you want to have fun in a roleplaying game then learn what roleplaying means. If you just want to have fun without knowing what roleplaying means, then go play another game.

Just a thought.

@drag: Because it's a proper noun and it's capitalized. Your name is uncapiltalized and is just a regular noun, which is just an existing word. Would you name your son "table" or "elephant"?
Things like dragonman or shadowfighter or paladinknight, or other words made by combining existing words aren't proper names either. To put it as simple for your mind to understand, a proper name is a word that you usually can't find in a dicitonary and can be pronounced. If you still can't figure out what is a proper name and can't at least realize a proper name starts with a capital letter, then you can ask any 5 year old and they can probably tell you what's a proper name.
Yes, Cain. But it's not Lufia.

i know wat a proper noun is. i chose drag as in dragon because i am facinated by them, real or not. and i do beleive that they once existed, jsut like teh greeks beleived in Zues and Hades and the rest on MT. Olympas. that is why i ahve my name, but i cant thik of a game with a Dyluck in it.

Guys stop it already! We turned the "Best-Role-Player" into "Who wants to kill drag". I mean he does need to work on his speech a little, but give the man a break! I mean, who would still talk like Jar-Jar Binks while in Trollsbane. Huh? Not anyone else. Ya know why! I'll tell you why! Because they are to afraid of they're speech being wrong! drag dont care if the sky was purple! And for that,he wouldn't care if the ground were MAGINTA! C'mon, give the guy a break, please. Thank you. And Erdrick, your welcome! BYE!

I played both Lufia games... Better storyline than most games I've played...
Really? Dyluck came from Secret of Mana? That the one with the boy and his... wolf... dog... thing... or the one with the girl and the furry sprite thing?
Hmmm... I admit it... I swiped this name, too

There is a similarity between the "Best Roleplayer" and "How to Roleplay". The posts about drag were how NOT to become the best roleplayer, not "who wants to kill drag". I never saw that in a single post.
@Drag:
Spelling better wasn't the main idea here, it was something secondary which came up. What was the main idea was your actual roleplaying. The typing we had problems with was the abbreviations "ne1" and "u r", not keyboarding problems. Typing better was hardly an issue, typing better words was. Also there was the name issue. I think you should consider having your name changed. "drag" is a verb, and "dragon" is a noun, neither are proper names, even if the person using them likes dragons. People don't name their characters 'goldfish' because they like goldfish.
