before leaving off on his ship he checks the boards one more time and laughs at the hate writing on it
How many, so many hate me on this board and yet none of you seem have the guts to show this hatred to me when I am around you. None of you hated me when I helped defend Silverbrand from Elaralith, and where was our precious Lyrenzia then? Where was Lyrenzia when Elaralith attack Silverbrand the first time? Or the second time? Or the third time? Face it citizens of Trolls Bane, Lyrenzia is a lot of cowards that made a government. They like to say they protect the people, but they really don't. They live out of town most of the time and just jail people from a safe distance. They won't actually protect you from a town attack, they leave you alone then.
Lyrenzia won't protect you, it never has and it never will. Not once has it actually taken action to defend the city. Not once has it tried to defend the city. The only thing nearest to positive were the walls. But beyond that it was nothing.
Also, citizens, I have been called a dog of Darlok for how long now? A week? Should I call you dogs of Lyrenzia since you stand up for it? Please, get original.

So, let me see if I have everything correctly...
Grant, Darlok's pet monkey sets up a happy little guild of brave men and women (including Arkadia) to try and stop the big meanies of the island.
Now, while I do not doubt the good intentions of many members to do good, I believe that Grant is fooling them all into becoming Darlok's minions.
Now, we have Darlok come and plead on the board for the members, who are now all easily identifiable and hence influenced easily, as Darlok's little friends, to vote for Zerbus-Darlok's actual right hand man and dare I say friend...as opposed to the scum that is Grant (and yes, Darlok views you as this also)
Now, with such a large number of people voting for Zerbus, there is a great possibility that he will actually reach Council Status...which would be excellent news for Darlok. After all, what better way to learn all of the secrets and plans of Lyrenzia than to have your best friend as one of them.
Nextly, the "Movement" identifies Elaralith as it's chief enemy...
And will probably be announcing Moyáve as it's next member...
Darlok I commend you...slowly you are gaining control of town...cheers friend!!

Brendan, you aren't to smart. You open your big mouth on hunches and guesses. Wether you want to believe it or not, Darlok has absoluetly nothing to do with this guild. If you had read it on the front page you would not see a mention of Darlok now would you.
Another thing, Elaralith has attacked Silverbrand 3 times on hunches. Brendan, do you feel there is something wrong with that? Your an idiot Brendan, and I am sick of sitting around and listening to you (not only you but everyone else that cristises this guild because it acts and doesn't discuss) complain about this guild because you assume it has some dark secret.
How I am going to make the members minions of Darlok? They have their own free will. And yes, most if not all agree that Lyrenzia needs to be stopped. So if you think that is brainwashing them then it is. But Brendan, can you please leave this place for my guildmates to talk alone until you have proof that Darlok has anything to do with this guild. Thank you very much.
Oh yes, Brendan if you would be so kind as to read what I wrote about Zerbus. I said clearly, if you can vote and don't know who to vote for then vote for Zerbus.

You have a problem with Elaralith attacking Silverbrand 3 times, yet you have no problem with Darlok attacking the town how many times along with blackmail?
Laws and Values
Lyrenzia goes after people who break the values we live by. We clearly wrote it down and only jail people who break those rules and those rules ONLY. We then gave a fancy name to those values called "Laws".
You on the other hand go after Elaralith for what? Probably the same basic values of Lyrenzia and everyone else, but your values are written nowhere for all to see and you are free to conjure up any reason you want to go kill someone. You have given yourself the full power to decide at your own whim at anytime what "laws" everyone should live by. Nobody knows if perhaps you consider murder and rape to be alright, but walking on someone's lawn to be the most horrible act.
Trials and Decisions
Lyrenzia decides whether someone has broken a value in an open trial. Everyone can see the evidence and testimony and everyone has a chance to give input. Judgement is passed by a panel of 9 people.
You on the other hand decided to go after Elaralith without setting up a scenario where all have a chance to input and see. You have given yourself the power to decide her guilt by yourself, without making a clear presention of all gathered evidence and testimony for all to see. We would never know what factors were used to make your decision, even if there might have been more factors that pointed to her innocence.
Sentencing and Punishment
Every "law" written is clearly matched with a defined punishment. Those who break the law are punished for no less or no more than that which they have be charged for. Punishment is time in prison.
You on the other hand have never specified any matching punishment with any particular values of course. You have given yourself the power to decree whatever punishment you want for whatever violation against you. You can punish as cruely and disproportionately as you desire. Your idea of punishment involves trying to take someones life.
~~~~
And for all this, I don't ever recall Elaralith asking you to decide what values she can live by or to judge her, or anyone else that you have, are, or will go after, as you have so accused Lyrenzia for.
Everything that accuse Lyrenzia of, can all be said the same and worse, to you.
Of course, your methods are no different than the common everyday methods in the most obvious display of anarchy before Lyrenzia came.
Each person had a set of values that they only knew for sure by themselves and enforced it on everyone else and punished by their own judgment.
A simple fact that I already explained so many times since the first day of Lyrenzia.
So no, I don't say that your persecution of Elaralith is any more injust than the methods of others before you.
But from what we can see in these comparasons, even if Lyrenzia is not better than the methods of you or every other person before it, it is clearly not worse.
~Headmaster Dyluck of the Magic Academy~
Now with your persecution of Elaralith, I'm very curious as to how you justify your actions compared to Lyrenzia persecuting someone.Grant Herion wrote:The Movement has proclaimed Elaralith to be a danger to the island's safety and has hereby named her to be our first target. As our way of handling things is we will go after her, but we will also put a bounty on her head so she will constantly fear for her safety and she will never be able to truely sleep at night. The current bounty is 5 ingots for her head.
We are always recruiting if you wish to join contact me anyway you wish.
Dyluck I didn't care to read all of your little book for one reason. I don't care to compare Lyrenzia to The movement. The Movement isn't a government. It is a group of outlaws that attack helpless people more then once.
You are correct, my reasons for going after people aren't written, that is why I shall consider writing them down later on. However, I am glad to see that so many people are trying to disband The Movement, which means that are frightened because they may go up on the wanted list.
Always fun to hear from you,
Grant Herion
p.s. Thank you for not calling me a slave dog to Darlok or another childish insult.
I miss the part where anyone ever declared itself a government.I don't care to compare Lyrenzia to The movement. The Movement isn't a government. It is a group of outlaws that attack helpless people more then once.
Lyrenzia isn't a government either, and my argument proves just that. You're just too easily impressed like the other common revolutionists by big words like laws, courts, and judicial systems.
Last time I checked it was the Movement trying to disband Lyrenzia, not the other way around, so I guess that makes the Movement frightened, according to you.However, I am glad to see that so many people are trying to disband The Movement, which means that are frightened because they may go up on the wanted list.
Incorrect Dyluck.
1- If Lyrenzia isn't a government why does have an election to make a group of people that decide what happens to the town. Why does it have a trail system? Everything Lyrenzia does is considered a Government. Please tell me what Lyrenzia is if it isn't a government.
2- Incorrect, I said this because yourself, Brendan mason, some unknown writer and many peasants (who I believe a select few, possibly yourself and Brendan alone) have repeated tried take the people involved insides this guild out of it. By saying how hypocratic it is for myself to be doing what it is doing. Now if you would all please leave this guild alone as I don't bother your own threads.
In other news, many are asking why The Movement doesn't attack Darlok, here are the reasons.
*Doing this will only provoke Darlok to attack town again which would involve in many many people's deaths, and I wouldn't like that blood on my hands.
*When Darlok summons Rot Worms it takes energy from the earth, if we attack, he will summon every last rot worm he can until there is no more energy left in the earth, leaving this place a desert. Would you like this?
Also,
Why do belonging in Lyrenzia complain about the Movement not attacking, when you could easily attack with equal amount of force. This shows your cowardice and how you would prefer for others to risk their lives then risk your own.
Thank you,
Grant Herion
Your question was already answered.Dyluck wrote:You're just too easily impressed like the other common revolutionists by big words like laws, courts, and judicial systems.
You have only managed to claim that horses have four legs and drink water, but it is not merely the drinking of water or having four legs that makes something a horse.
My comparasons have already clearly shown how all these things are all merely advanced versions of the simple procedures we used in the daily life of anarchy before. It's not my fault if you don't read.
In which part of my messages did I say your members should leave your guild? I can't be held responsible for your feeling offended if you don't read conclusions carefully and fail to grasp the point of the message.Grant Herion wrote: 2- Incorrect, I said this because yourself, Brendan mason, some unknown writer and many peasants (who I believe a select few, possibly yourself and Brendan alone) have repeated tried take the people involved insides this guild out of it. Interesting enough that you've failed to produce this explanation until now instead of the first times you were ciritcized.Grant Herion wrote: In other news, many are asking why The Movement doesn't attack Darlok, here are the reasons.
I'm more curious however as to what part of this justifies allying with people who send monsters on the town and blackmails it.
To answer your own question you need only learn to read.Grant Herion wrote: Also,
The purpose of Lyrenzia is written clearly at the main hall of the castle.
You have written out the purpose of your guild, and you contradict it by befriending he who sends monsters on the town and blackmails it:
I guess blackmail and murder isn't included in your definition of evil.The Movement is a group of men out to stop those that are the strongest of the island and kill innocents. We battle evil and push it back to wence it came.
I'm sorry Dyluck, but in your old age you have gotten bad memory. Darlok attacked the town after those mages attacked his workers and castle. Counter-attacking was the correct thing to do, as I am sure that if my men were to attack your castle you would counter-attack us where we slept.
Also Dyluck, what is your point of writting here if it is not to make the members of this guild leave?
Another thing, evil is in many shades of grey.
"A thousand mens throats may be cut in a single night, by a running man."
I was told that once....
Enough of this fighting!
Both of you, Grant Herion and Dyluck, The fact remains, Lyrenzia has power in Trolls Bane, Darlok has power outside of it and your group of Rebels try to fight on both fronts, and fail miseribly.
If you want this drought to end, and the plagues and suffering WORK TOGETHER INSTEAD OF AGAINST EACH OTHER!
we all live in the city of Trolls Bane, act it instead of fighting something useless to be fought....
My point exactly Grant, you can't tell me where I done this, I tried to stop Elaralith from going down to Silverbrand, and I tried to stop her from casting flames, when I got down there myself, I try to stop her when I can, but she would not listen to me. Darlok attacked the town first, before the people had decided to help him or not.
No he told us we had a week to make a decision about wether to we should help him build his castle, then on the last day, his rot worms attacked town in huge numbers, killing and wounding many people, then he came into town, and demanded that we help him with the castle.
What exactly did I try to do Grant?
You tried to stop Elaralith. I try to stop Darlok. See what I mean? Also, he gave you seven days. At the end of the seven days he acted so you couldn't call his bluff. If he didn't attack, you never would have built his castle. If you had just built his castle, or at least started to build if during the seven days he never would have attacked.
